This is so awesome. Only thing I had issue with is everyone says "Let me think" in almost every interaction before going further in a conversation with you. If we can randomise it. I am sure mod devs are already working on it.

This is the future of immersive rpg games. Hopefully this mod has the attention of Bethesda, and can be in the next Elder Scrolls. I can see some people just wanting the simplicity of text based converstion choices, but sheer immersion factor this technology will allow is mind-blowing. The future versions will sound more natural, have distinct character personalities and knowledge bases, deeper awareness and environmental interaction. I play Skyrim exclusively in VR these days because I love the feeling of actually being in the world. This kind of advancent will make that illusion even more complete.

The types of conversations you might have with different professions in Skyrim
cannot be predetermined by that person’s profession…
Know one knows ahead of time where that person has come from, what their
education level might be, or what experiences they have had during their lives…

The local tavern owner is really an exiled prince whose father was murdered by

Honestly I'm willing trade a bit of load time in exchange for better dialogue. It's a fair trade off.

The groundwork is there and it's already really impressive, but I cannot wait to see how this idea can be applied in the future as things become a bit more refined.
If modders can do this alone on a 10 year old game, imagine if the idea gets officially implemented in something modern by a bigger studio. Developers can feed AI with much more specific information to help it roleplay as their characters personality and story. AI voice can be trained to voice actors voices so the generated lines are more fluid. You could even use a combination, have them voice act in cutscenes and specific dialogue and use the AI for more generic conversation and such.

Imagine how cool it would be in something like Cyberpunk 2077 if you could actually talk to the story characters (I just wanna go to the bar with Jackie one more time 😭) or something like LA Noire in which you actually question suspects in your own voice and they react accordingly. I wouldn't be surprised if we to see this kind of thing pretty soon to be honest, with the speed at which AI is improving even now.

AI is quickly becoming amazingly incredible; I'm happy to live in the time of this evolution. I imagine when games officially implement this. storylines will shape themselves based on interaction.. VR.. the level of immersion will be enormous. I just know that when this happens, it will be hard to leave home, goodbye social life 😂

I want that if I have to find, for example, a plant. Ask people where I can find it, or even for guidance. I don't want to follow a distance marker, arrows, signs, luminous icons, messages, or any of that shit that ruins the immersion. I hope the games of the future are based on AI and physics and feel real, not arbitrary and stupid mechanics and rules.
