Can you offset the tracking with this thing? I keep seeing it track the head smack in the middle with too much headroom above.

I have a Logitech BRIO 4K, it's trash compared to the insta360. I bought the insta360 and love it! Great quality!

I just bought one of these following your excellent review (and others). But I can't tell you how disappointed I am. Like you, I wear glasses, but for me - with any pair - the glare from my monitor, which also weirdly ends up being green - is so strong that you can't see my eyes. It's massively distracting and renders the webcam unusable for me. I've never had this with any other webcam or DSLR. It's honestly unusable and I'm going to have to return it. (I've tried it with some cheap readers lying around and have the same issue, although the glare from them isn't green - but it's still horrible.

ET phone home (China) all day long and a crazy user agreement from what I read. That killed it for me.

I got this one 2 days ago. The picture quality and other features are very satisfying, except its' awful start - every time a computer is turned on, the camera is turning on and starts rotating with loud knock sounds. Ohhh! I sent the video with this behaviour to a tech support they confirmed it is a normal start for the Link.

I got one and the video wasgreat but the sound kept going off (on teams and skype) so I returned it.

Well it is not so smart, when I stand up it doesnt follow completely .... Obsbot can doe it with no issues ! And furthermore the Insta 360 link is NOT really working great on VMIX! You cannot control the PTZ options .. Obsbot can do it perfectly ! Image of this webcam is awesome ... functionality is not up to date ..... sending back to reseller

Does anyone know what the color depth (bits) is for this camera?
I was hoping for 10 bits, but I have been unable to find any specific information, so I would suspect it only have 8 bits...

My work laptop is locked down so not able to install any drivers or software. Would this still work as a basic webcam?

Also can I connect this to my Mac change the setting and save it to the camera like the Elgato facecam or will it forget it settings when I plug it back to my work laptop?
