all in all I still prefer the 813.

After careful consideration I will buy the 39mm it looks better and 21mm sucks. Ordinary 41mm is a sweet spot but I'll definitely go 39 this time

I own an SSC813. It's the first time I've ever suggested not having a complication. I'm wearing it wight now. The date window is illegible and should not have been added. It would also have made a cleaner dial. The bezel on the newer model is why I didn't want the 9 series. When it comes to a sub $1k watch, I prioritize certain qualities over others. I want the best band possible with a sapphire crystal, then the movement. I'd rather have a $650 quartz watch with good specs, than an Automatic with a terrible band and case.
The Tissot PRX in quartz is intriguing, the PRX in with a mechanical movement is not.

Both look good, but i think for my wrist the 813 would be a better fit. I am envious of the lume on the 911.

This is why you shouldn’t let anxiety get to your head. The speed timer obviously looked similar to the Daytona, but the longer that I looked at it the more I could see that it was its own thing. Man, Seiko really messed with this watch smh…

Just to add the new SSC911 has the Magnetic Resistance 4,800 A/m old one doesn't

The 813 might be a clone of the Daytona, but it's a better looking clone.
Which might be unfair towards Rolex, since the 813 is one of the best looking chronographs (I've seen).

I bought the 813. 911 just looks off proportionally. Also the pins and collar is such a stupid system. Come on Seiko, you need to up your game not just your price

I prefer the looks of the new ones dial and hand set, i prefer the bezel from the old one along with the lume and the 39mm size. So which one do i want??? The Old model with the new models dial, hand set and size.. Thanks alot Seiko... Now i cant buy either....🤬

I have the 813 and it has sort of grown on me. Biggest disappointment for me is the size ... it wears small on my 6.50" wrist. I wish I had considered the 911 before buying the 813 but the silver dial did not appeal to me. Hindsight 😕

Nah i way prefer the 813. 20mm lug, better proportions, better dial. I think the new bezel is too thick. Still nice!
