The last air bender is an amazing show that holds up but Mary sues are very heavily used. Aang is kinda a Mary Sue but they actually showed him failing. I mean he ran away and fed a 100 year war and had his struggles. Katara is almost not a Mary Sue but she becomes one as her hypocrisy goes but that’s kinda a real thing so it works. Toph was straight up a Mary Sue daredevil rip-off but I went with it. The part where she’s suddenly metal bending around her entire body during the comet was jumping the shark. The legend of Korra really doesn’t hold up.

I thought i read somewhere that they hired a blind actress to voice her.
