Is number 5 walnut good to get rid of orangy number 6 hair ?i don't have highlights but my hairdresser bleached my hair and dyed it ash brown but it still has orange tones. I want to tone it and get red of those warm tones.
UPDATE : So I used eq 5N on light brown hair with orangy tones, it definitely toned my hair but it's darker than what I expected. I hope it will fade after few washes.

If I have super faded red hair (I had Ariel red) will the 7NB cover up all the red without being too dark of a brown?

Hi, my hair is a combo of 8, 9, 10 colors, and I have 90% white/gray roots...

I used a 5na for a root melt to cover my gray roots and it made my roots blue!! Previously I tried the 6n on my roots and I found it to be too warm, surprisingly, thats why I dropped it to a 5na.

The other challenge I have is that these colors STAIN my pretty platinum highlights and make them light blue, even though I only hitting the roots. When I wash it out it the color grabs the platinum pieces and dulls them.

What do you recommend for a root melt that will also cover gray and not stain my highlights? Thank you ❤

Daniella. My roots are a level 7/8. My blonde highlights are a level 9-10 mixed with naturally grays. I like to be a bright blonde mixed in with warm golden blonde lowlights. It’s getting harder to hide or soften the grays. So when I want an overall EQ shade to warm up the silvers. Which should I go with? I do not like any beige or ash against my skin. Golden works well!

Do you still need developer with 1B onyx since you’re not lightening the strands?

Hi Daniella. I need your professional advise . 2 days ago I did keratin treatment, my hair turned out very brassy and orange . My base was level 6 . To cancel out orange can I use blue mask or 9b Redken toner ?🙏

What shade of EQ or combo would be good to achieve that look? And, I don't understand if EQ gives you an even color on your whole head or if enhances and corrects the color only? Every time I do get a color it seems to turn brassy orangey yellow-ish after the toner wears out… Help

Excellent video. I do my own hair. And would like to know more about gel lacquers. I get lots of gray and saw this on the redken IG and though I try it. So I bought the same color as the shades I used. Chicory 4n and was wondering is this will be darker or not sure what to expect? Can you give me some advice?

Can you advise someone trying to transition to grey hair. My hair gets damaged with permanent coloring and highlights. I have seen beauty consultants just adding shades with no ammonia that would not damage hair but I can do this product to blend white hairs and not be a slave to permanent hair color for life. (Gone now) then left my bright level golden blonde HL w a bluish grayish hue:(( I have many shades eq now. 6nb, 6n 8n, clear, 9GI ,8A, 9n. Okay, so I recently got my hair done and it’s a little brassy/orange for my liking. I want to use Redken Shades to tone the highlights to a pretty ashy color. What colors would you suggest? I can’t figure out what level my lightest piece is. I’m thinking a level 7-8.

It was a bit of a salon nightmare. My roots turned out so dark. And she used permanent colt on them instead of demi. So she went back and added more highlights, now I just look like a slightly brassy blond. I want a caramel auburn blond. What formula could I use? I sent you pics on your Instagram
