You talk about Pure Stream Technology and need at least 100Mbs. If you still want direct network Connection you can get a RJ45 to USB Adapter. It will provide you Speed closer to your Internet Plan. Example I have Gigabit Internet. Only got 95 MBps with native RJ45 Port on TV, but when I do the Adapter I am now getting 900 Mbps Down and zero Streaming issues. Much Better than Wireless.

Picked up A80J right before Black Friday and have to say best TV I have ever owned and Picture Quality is best you can get under $2,000.

If the end result of so much AI processing doesn't surpass the image quality of other TVs this much AI processing doesn't matter.

The king of TVs IMO. I still have my XBR4 if anyone remembers those, with the glass bezel. It’s 1080P but still the picture is amazing.

There is no such thing as Cognitive Intelligence that is beyond Artificial Intelligence, this is just marketing mumbo jumbo. Cognitive Intelligence refers to the natural intelligence of humans and animals, the expression is mainly used in psychology. Whatever new algorithms they included in the new series, that is still machine learning/deep learning. Still should be an awesome piece of equipment.

I think Sonys processing is what leans me towards their TV’s compared to the others. Their upscale has been the best which is great for broadcast content or hd and sd rips

I haven’t bought a new tv since 2008. I’m still using my Sony KDS50A3000 SXRD and have been pretty happy with it. I think this may be the year I upgrade. The A90J looks really nice.

Its a shame that The X95j (4K LED) does NOT come in 55 inches.

It’s gonna be the X90J or X95J in 65”. Need more comparison and hard numbers to decide if I’ll spend the extra money for the X95J.

I have always been a Sony guy. I have a 75X900E right now and like it. Based on emerging technology it like mini-led and micro-led it seems like Sony is missing the boat here. Why still FALD when Samsung and others are offering a newer better technology? Surely the picture is great but I can imagine that Sony can do alot with this newer technology. I prefer Sony and I am not sold on OLED long term. I would like to see what Sony can do with mini-led and or Micro LED technology before I consider my next TV. I know I want 8K and 85" in size so I am willing to wait it out. Thanks for the info here! Very much appreciate it.
