Ligety Wins Gold in Schaldming Super G - USSA Network

Ted Ligety wins the FIS Alpine World Championships super G in Schladming, Austria. Running tenth in flat light, Ligety knifed the bottom section of the course using his technical giant slalo skills to move into the lead over France's Gauthier De Tessieres by two tenths. Pre-race favorite Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway held the lead most of the way before a late mistake cost him the lead, finishing two hundredths behind De Tessieres.
