Damn ,now i have 3 eyes

first time meditating i'm 17 and here are my results: a minute in and my mouth was salivating as if I was about to vomit, a little bit longer about 3 minutes in I felt very vulnerable as if someone was come from behind me and do harm to my vulnerable body. Mind you that i'm in my chair sitting in my room home alone with my eyes closed back facing the door, I felt as if someone was about to come from behind and slit my throat. In general i'm a very very anxious person so its not surprising that I was getting these feelings. About 9 minutes in I had a lot of bad thoughts in my head of past experiences with my friends, I have a past with substance abuse and I got memories of my worst times while meditating, I tried to keep out the bad thoughts but it kept on persisting...
Would appreciate if anyone would reply and put their judgement/opinion on my first time meditating.

Overcome being lazy...Feed the fire in you.... You can do amazing things
