The response to this video has been huge. One of our biggest videos ever. We worked our ass off on these animations. Big shout out to Mike and Eli, our stellar animators. Also big thanks to Curiosity Stream, without them we simple would not have the budget to make something this ambitious. If you liked this video, you will love that Armstrong documentary on CS. It gives me some serious goals to work towards. Packed with information and beautiful story telling.

The tech in these is really cool.

Engineeer myself and Tbh just been having a shitty day, feeling like everything is pointless and that I can’t do shit. But things like this are just amazing we are doing stuff like this.

Currently nearly done studying (and some stupid bureaucracy things been holding me back for a while now… should have graduated already)
Hope I can work for some company that I actually have some passion for. Things like these nasa projects would be incredible to work on (ofc unluckily to start with that but there is plenty of other cool stuff too)

You need to learn a new word. Nothing you call insane is actually insane. Buy a thesaurus!

I used to work in the US nuclear complex and I remember there being discussions that a very real downside to nuclear arms limitations is that the US is rapidly running out of Pu-238. It may be extremely difficult to develop RTGs in the future because we simply aren't reprocessing nearly as much nuclear material as we used to.

The real video of those landing rockets did not show anything visible coming out of them during landing.

Let me guess - the narrator is from County Kerry (or somewhere south of Limerick at least), but has been living in Dublin for some time.
The Closed Captions might be auto-generated, but note that the posssessive pronoun "its" is used inappropriately throughout.

The amount of things that needed to go right for them to pull this off is staggering and honestly quite overwhelming if you think about it too much, escaping the grip of earth gravity is hard enough let alone launching a car sized rover with accompanying sky crane and getting it to land on a predetermined spot on a planet so far away that it appears as a star in the night sky.

I can't wait to see what we do next, with any luck I'll live to see mankind walk on Mars.

there are already about a hundred of those vehicles on mars, they should install traffic lights too and possibly establish a traffic authority for parking fines, speed limit fines and such. With the current technology I think these are all goal in sight. Next would be to improve the motorways conditions and, let me say, I'd like to see some races too
