Most modern producers don’t even do that. They make loops with stock or paid VSTs then export them for use by producers. Producers like Southside.

Bruh, when I was a kid we ran a cheap guitar into the mic input on an old hi-fi that was running into the family PC and made guitar loops using Audacity before exporting into whatever DAW we had a pirated copy of 😅

i cant relate, there's producers like me that use high priced vsts & create melodies instrument by instrument. kontakt, ample guitar, lounge lizard etc.
