I believe the selected cards allowed to be traded will be based on pack sets. They will probably release the trading feature along the new set, and will only allow trading from the previous one so you have to spend on the new packs to get the new cards

Trading will very likely be limited to only normal cards for right now, no full arts and no EX cards, and will very likely also have a daily limit as well as a cost of some shrindust. Also probably will have to have 3 of the card before you can trade it. Just going off of how they did it in Pokemon GO, which seems like it would translate pretty easily to this game. Guessing ranked will come with set 3 so that they have time to release enough cards that ranked doesn't end up just being the same 2 decks every game.

If I can't trade for full art Ericka, I'll be so sad

I just hope that trading makes competitive decks accessible for new free to play players

Ranked mode will be way to frustrating in this game.. they need to make a mode like the current event where you aren’t punished for losing cause there’s way to much rng in this game to be punished for losing a ranked game

Thanks for the update bro. As far as releasing new cards, I wanna see more trainer cards. Every deck is using some variation of the same trainers because it's all we have. I'd like to see some variety when people are deciding which supporters, items, and tools to use. I feel like trainers really bridge the skill gap in this game. The Pokemon either will or won't do what they do, but the trainer cards can require a high level of game awareness to benefit from proper timing and order. A ranked ladder with better rewards would always be appreciated. And I hope trading allows you to trade high rarity cards. I can definitely see it going the other way, though. They're probably still trying to find a work around for people who will just reroll accounts to trade for the high rarity cards they want.

They should make a gym leader challenge like how you play the Og games. Lets say you vs Brock 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for each stage you complete it gets harder I feel that would be amazing plus gym badges and supporter cards since all of us have to hunt down every pack for that specific card. I feel that gen 2 Johto region will introduce like baby pokemon that will have certain abilities since they were introduced in the tcg aspect, item tools such as berries, and more interesting items in general. And on top of that maybe elite four for gen 1.

Some concerns

DeNa is the devloper of pokemon masters ex, the last anniversary they showed a good level of greed.

1) I dont think they will allow you to trade with anything outside the base set of the game and potentially not even ex cards - The reason why i believe this is simply due to players being able to reroll just to trade yourself dupes of unwanted cards

2) Even with a stamina system, rerolling will just be way too beneficial and will lose the company money in the long run seeing how you only need 2 copies of a card.

3) Even with a level requirement to be able to trade, this would still be worth it vs spending money on the game and this is why many other gacha games don't allow trading in any way shape or form.

I think you will be able to trade up to 3 diamond units at the very minimum.

marvel snap needs to wake up cause if not this game will make them regret it, Pokemon pocket is a beautiful game, they are doing a great job hopefully they keep it up.

I hope we can trade low rarity cards. Ive pulled my 4th CharizardEX while looking for my 1st Vulpix.

They should allow trades of ex pokemons so that those who only need to unlock it to get mew could unlock it

nidoking needs a hp buff to either 160 or 170 so mewtwo has to gio to one shot or take two turns to kill it

I imagine trading might require same rarities, that way u can’t trade like an ex for a 1 diamond. Maybe it’s wishful thinking to be able to trade full arts using this system.

Not trying to sound like a downer but I think it's stupid there not going to allow us to just trade whatever we want, in having issues understanding why they're putting a limit on what we can trade, I'm not sure why it matters what people trade because lets be real everyone that plays this game wants to complete there collections or trade for cards they need to complete decks but it just seems like that's not going to be possible if they out limits on it

I pray we can chose to pick which pack set to open bc I’m missing like 70 or 71 cards from genetic apex still and I also hope even when a new series comes out we can still try and go for the older cards so like when the 2nd set comes out we can still get genetic apex if that makes sense

Im so obsessed with this game however, I’m so sick of people using mewtwo and dragonite all the time. I used them when I first started but if you’re over like level 20 and still using that deck then you suck at putting together a decent deck. You’re still a beginner in my eyes and I can take you out in other ways.

I'm excited for the addition to trading and everything but I am more curious if the current booster packs will stay or be removed when the new releases. I am hoping they leave the option to choose which packs you are picking from.

I also agree on the trading system most likely being diamonds only but also for equal value either same for same rank or could add up to the same rank I just don't know if they will do multi card for 1 card out of the gate but that would be nice.

whats the settings to run pokemon tcg pocket on bluestacks?????? last time I tried it just got stuck on the starting screen..

Just saying, a dark mode would be a lot better than a ranked mode right now... Also would like the option to not see game boards.
