It brokes my heart every time I hear this song. I heard it in middle school but somehow thought it was about relationships-since I’ve heard it in HIMYM. My friend’s dad passed away many years ago, when he was a kid, it was in a car crush when he was drunk, exactly like this one. He can’t got over it even though he’s an adult now. And my dad made a motor accident when he was drunk two weeks ago, luckily nothing too serious happened, but man it was close, he stayed in the IU for two days. I am seeing the video for the first time even though I know the song for many years, now that watching what it’s about, makes me cry. I send this clip to my friend. He is shocked by the resemblance too.
