God, the mournful frustration of a parent seeing a bad report card. Resonated with me super hard because I had the same issue, it didn't usually seem to matter how hard I tried I just couldn't get my grades up. School was not kind to my neurodivergent butt, so I tried very very hard to hide my report card. Claiming I lost it, that the teachers forgot to give me one, etc. Seriously the sheer amount of dread and shame those little pieces of paper used to bring me is probably deep enough to call trauma.

To be fair at the they made the promise was when she just learned that her daughter has ran away and got trap in other dimension. She just losted her husband so she didn't want lose her daughter too.
