As he mentioned, we Greeks wanted this canal for a long time. But since we knew it was an enormous task, we invented Diolkos (portage machine) instead. A kind of rails for ships to be moved over land. I'm talking about 600 BCE. The Diolkos combined the two principles of the railway and the overland transport of ships, on a scale that remained unique in antiquity.

The Roman Emperor Nero tried again, way later, after Rome conquered Greece.

Greece is heaven. Greece is 80% mountains, snow-capped in winter. And 20% of all of Europe's Ultra peak mountains lies in Greece. For more reference, search for: "Ultra peak moutains map Europe" and see how Greece is together with the Alps the only 2 regions with a high amount of Ultra peak mountains in Europe.

2. Greece has an extremely complex geography and topography and lies on 4 tectonic earth plates. Among which the European plate, African plate, Asian plate coming together in Greece.

3. Because of Greece's extremely diverse geography, Greece has 15.000 caves, 400 wetlands, and some of the most natural hotsprings on earth with 800 natural hotsprings

4. Greece has the highest biodiversity in Europe. And more importantly also the highest endemic species. Meaning plant species that grows knowhere else, This is because of Greece's high amount of isolation that is created by it's very complex geography, mountains and islands

5. Greece has 6000 islands surrounding the incredible mainland. Each island unique, and if you combine the mainland and islands, it's and extremely diverse country

6. You have a whole arc of volcano's and volcanic islands all the way to geological paradises and geological islands all the way to islands that resemble small continents, all the way from the only natural palm forests in Europe, to some of the least degraded virgin forests in Europe

7. Greece has unparalleled history with the top 3 most archaeological sites in the world, and the nr 1 most historic museums in the world. Greece also has an incredible culture

8. Greece's cuisine is heaven and even in the World Taste Atlas fighting for the nr1 spot on earth against Italy. Both countries with a score significantly higher than any other cuisines in the world that was listed in the top50 best cuisines

9. Because of Greece's very complex geography, 80% mountains, heavily indented mainland and 6000 islands surrounding the mainland, Greece has 16.000 km of the most crystal clear and incredibly diverse coastlines one can imagine. Endless untouched coastlines with the craziest sea colors, with mountains or without, or the most picturesce towns and villages

10. For the same reasons mentioned above Greece is also a paradise for gorges. In fact it has the longest gorge in Europe (Samaria) and 1 of the 3 deepest gorges on earth (Vikos), or other crazy gorges like Aoos gorge 11. Greece has a couple of riverse in the 5 cleanest rivers of Europe. The rivers are crazy clear. This coincides with Greece winning many years now the best bottled mineral water on earth from the most important water competitions on earth. Some of the rivers are Voidomatis, Acherontas, Aoos, Acheloos In conclusion In just this short summarization

Greece is a paradise. In fact a collection of paradises. Greece is a paradise of mountains, sea, coastlines, culture, history, food, nature, picturesce town and villages, gorges, wetlands, rivers, volcano's, geological paradises, and everything else spanning from the mountains till the sea. And this is the definition of Greece. Those who travel through Greece 1 time, 3 times, 10 times, 30 times, 100 times knows exactly what I mean. Greece is heaven

Nice Views! And So much space. Earth is quite something special. Whoever can rightfully claim and prove that He's The Real Creator of Planet Earth MUST BE a MONSTER. 📡 And, If There are other Planets far away from this Universe made by The same Creator. My Goodness, such Creator Will Have To Be An Individual which NOBODY on Earth has clearly dealt with and gotten to know. If This Universe is really about 13.8 Billion years, then, The Creator would have to be older than 13.8 Billion years in age. And, if This Universe is Not The First Universe that was ever created, then The Creator could very easily be way older than, 26 Billion years in age. The real Creator of Planet Earth could easily be 50 Billion years old or older. And, according to how many Universes there are, The Real Creator of This Universe could very easily be older than 1, or, 2, or, 3 Trillion Years old in age. Whoever The Creator is, we can conclude that, The Real Creator of this Universe has been around for a lot longer than anything He's ever Created. Imagine The Secrets He would know about how life really started. 📡📢
