I will never understand why people cover a song and go this far out with the autotuning pitch correction. It's over done and it sounds like a robot is singing. Of course these things can be used at point to stress an emotion, or fill a space to make it feel l like it is something that is not actually there. Such as the intro vocals Cher did with Believe, to give that nightclub type of feel. But what is the point of this when you are covering a song and just doing a park and bark? If you can't sing it the way Toni did, that is fine, Toni has a unique sound and strength, but autotuning and pitch correcting to such a degree to IMITATE Toni just ruins the song because the song is meant to be RAW emotion, and the robot sounding vocals take away all the authenticity and emotion of the song. Just sing it YOUR way so that you do not need need all of that!
