I feel so poor! Nice video.
ОтветитьPhenomenal gym!
Well done!
Did primal sponsor you or how did you make that choice?
ОтветитьGet a hack squat nothing better
ОтветитьWhy not just put in a heating fan? There’s plenty you can start from an app prior to starting your workout
ОтветитьThat is a dope looking gym…thank you for the walk through…building mine in my basement…hope to get to this level someday🤘
ОтветитьYou could have gotten the Prime Hybrid leg extension/leg curl combo. That machine' you can do seated leg extensions and then the bench folds down so you can do laying down leg curl and get that full movement. They have it in weight stack or plate loaded so you can never out grow it.
ОтветитьGreat video, I have just finished my own home garage gym, check it out, I'd love to know what you think.
ОтветитьHi Joe. Spot on transformation here....I've seen this clip a few times this upload that is, but I've come back to it as I'm doing my next home gym....but just noticed something that isn't actually in your gym. At 17.06 you can see what looks like wall control pegboards. What are these (make an model if you know) and where did you get them.....wall control in the UK is hard to get hold of....and I need metal as they are for cable attachment (I'm going down the Rep Athena rack system so wall mounted attachments are needed as it's a totally open rack with integrated cables. Sounds like you're a local lad too I'm based in Audenshaw...I'm guessing you're not far away from looking at some of your other clips.
Spot on channel and great content as always sir....keep up the great work
J
How do you do leg extension without harming the knee? Shear vs top loaded? Just trying to wrap my head around because I'd like to do them but twice now I've tried them & I am either doing them wrong, or they aren't meant for my knees. Thanks!
ОтветитьFor those of us that trained fully clothed...is a garage in the winter 'ok' to train in once you've warmed up on a treadmill?
ОтветитьHow to best use a 6' x 6' floor space? (I like ear stuff)
I'm actually in the process of turning half of my WFH office into a home gym (5' 8" x 9' 6") and came here for inspiration
i cant even afford an amazon bench ☠
ОтветитьHow does the fabric hold up on the ceiling? Does it work well with the dust and insects. Sounds like a good idea. Please let me know.
ОтветитьIs the Dip attachment from primal as well mate?
ОтветитьBro how much the all equipments cost
ОтветитьWhere did you get those sheets for the ceiling? Much cheaper and easier than drywall
ОтветитьOnly a SINGLE movement on leg extension!? I'd be doing standing leg curls too!
ОтветитьThanks for using the superior weight measurement no freedom units.
ОтветитьUrgh, can't wait to have my own home gym. Great video for inspiration (and aspiration!) - thanks x
Ответитьwhere did you buy your mirror?
Ответить"Alright, lets start from the start". 😆😆
ОтветитьMan like one thing I’m so excited about is buying a home and building a garage/basement gym and videos like this make me giddy about it lmao
Ответитьthis is so cool one of my wishlist
ОтветитьJoe - You need an electric roller door mate! Keeps it nice a toasty. Stick a few nice thin horizontal high level windows in for the natty light!
ОтветитьHey Joe - thanks for this video.
I’ve got space for one ‘machine’. Thinking of getting the dual cable rather than the rack. What do you think? Cheers
Thanks
ОтветитьUse round stickers to mark your most commonly used holes.
ОтветитьInsulated roller door and some light tunnels in the roof for natural light.
ОтветитьSuper cool
Ответитьawesome set up joe -- if you dont really get that much out of the deadlift matt and space -- highly recommend a simple leg press -- would pretty much complete a leg workout session -- i find with a ahome gym -- i have myself a smaller set up -- its very difficult to cover the whole leg routine -- everything else can get covered easily in your own set up but i find myself still going to my local gym at least once a week just to make sure i get my legs fully covered
ОтветитьThe dry humour at the start kept me here loool
Ответитьeverything great. think art on wall get pumped to lift. something spartins move. have guy face with helmet. something says every pound lift spartine fight for you. 300 Spartans so want try get 300 all exercises or something like that. zombie punkins have jack lantern patterns of spartina's cut out with exact knife on card bord. shine flash light through it. trace best can with white pine. then paint white. use stencils paint words on if don't free hand. make cut box hole so spray paint don't go. over stencil. words every pound lift spatine fight for you. 300 spartans. fun exercise might lift bench plate like shield move around. not sure do handle yet but use two hands till figure out. think tractor supply put farm pine through there. that used handle.
ОтветитьWhy do you prefer a Functional trainer versus a lat pulldown/rowing machine? Im trying to decide between those...
ОтветитьAwesome idea on the ramp for calf raises. I had just been laying down a 2x4 until I could get around to building some sort of platform. But checked amazon and saw a rubber curb ramp for $39. Hopefully that will work out and save me the trouble.
ОтветитьWhere did you put your plates?
ОтветитьAre there any rack you recommend for low ceilings? I have low garage rafters that only give me 195cm
ОтветитьGreat video Joe. I'm looking at kitting out a similar size garage and was just wondering where you got those panel lights from and how bright they are?
ОтветитьHammer Strength's plate loaded seated calf machine is small and versatile. As well as calf raises you can do hyperextensions and glute ham raises.
ОтветитьHow much you spend on it all?
ОтветитьSo was the old (freebie) kit on a hire and you returned it ?
Ответитьi just bought a bowflex blaze with 410 lbs i got it used . what else would you recomend.?..
Ответитьmade me laugh you referring to the natural light as 'Natty light'
ОтветитьIs there anything you can do to improve the insulation so you don’t have to warm up before feeling you can take your shirt off?
ОтветитьHome gym? XD just like that all brand new shit. All eq must cost you fortune like new floor, walls, mats, big mirror new lights and profesional gym equipment even fuckin speakers!
Easy little setup for average guy^^
Just got a garage that’s 20cm narrower, but 2m longer. Absolutely buzzing to see an example of what I can build. Cheers la
ОтветитьHey what do you do for lower lats? I can't seem to get those lines going down my sides
Ответить
