When is ROKU TV's going to come out with OLED formats ? That would be for me the best of both worlds.

TV ranking number One any 4K Sceptre dumb TV ( I bought a 4K 65 inch four years ago $389.99 and people come over that have $1000-$5000 TVs and want to know what kind of TV I have it has a better picture than there does it is very easy to get a good picture on the TV ) Any TV with Google TV, Any TV with Roku, bottom of the bucket, nowadays is anything with Fire TV they consistently have issues and are always saying their outer space out of the box with no programming on it.
Monitor: 1K Any Sceptre monitor or TV, 4K monitors, Samsung, the M series or the gaming series? After that they’re all about the same.
Roku is the Motorola phone of the tv side?
ОтветитьI have a super ild Sony Bravia, a KDL series from around 2007 i believe? Hooked up a Roku box, and havent looked back. I have gine through THREE firesticks, all of which have experienced slowdowns and big to the point of beung unusable. Rokus have akways been snappy, built well, and have a really decent interface in my opinion.
Ответитьneed a roku OLED. I love the OS, I have to settle for wonky Samsung OS but better picture.
ОтветитьI'm most inpressed with the I/O. Most Samsung or LG TV's give you 2, maybe 3 HDMI ports if you're lucky. Plus, having AV inputs is nice for me.
ОтветитьCan't skip adds, PASS
ОтветитьI knew Roku was going to be big when I saw my old grandma easily navigating it to watch her old person shows on PlutoTv or whatever lol
ОтветитьYou got one part right. You are clearly out of touch, maybe you just read the room wrong.
ОтветитьThe simple gui is a good thing. Fast, no amazon ads.
ОтветитьGive them some time to collect that user data and I’m sure ads will Pop-Up ALOT more in the future.
@Linus: If you want Mine to work with Roku you’d have to throw out the TV.
Ever since I bought my first smart tv, a Vizio 50" about 8yrs ago. And I still have it sitting in my living room. It's hard for me to consider any other brand. I gotta get a Vizio.
ОтветитьI love Roku, every TV in my house has Roku. My primary TV is a TCL Roku TV and I plugged Roku streaming sticks into my moms TV as well as my hot tub TV. I love that I can take whatever I am watching on my TCL, pause it and when I go take a soak in my hot tub the show is waiting for me out there right where I left off.
My next TV is going to be a Roku TV.
that crop on linus hand
ОтветитьHow's Roku in terms of privacy, security, and shoving ads down your throat? Are they good guys :) ?
Ответитьour tv has some BSD-based OS
ОтветитьRoku is like a system run by Govt. It is awful. The remote control is a little silly toy. Even when Roku is actually working it's awful. Roku is a great way to catch up on your reading.
ОтветитьThe Roku OS is so simple and responsive that even my 81 year old dad, who has NEVER touched a computer and only got a smartphone about 2 years ago, has no problem navigating through the OS to watch either cable tv, streaming TV, or live weather radar.
ОтветитьWtf? I didn't think anyone actually bought the tv's in the few hundred dollar range. Lol, what can you even complain about for a couple hundred if it at least turns on?!
ОтветитьI and many others will NEVER buy a TV that has to connect to a network and have an account set up to use my own content or receive broadcast TV signals. That is stupid.
