Had a lot of similar reactions to my first sailing in November. Glad to see you noticed improvement. The crew was amazing. I do hope they get the technology back end sorted out a bit before we sail again!

I totally feel you on the noise! We were in 8239, which is directly below the buffet galley. Every night was banging, moving of wheeled kitchen shelving, the dropping of metal objects…luckily were hard sleepers. We would recommend light sleepers to stay away from the 8th floor, especially this room

I am the friend of the birthday girl!! Lol. Now I haven’t done a review video yet, I’m just posting vlogs right now..…I didn’t care for the deep dish…but the pizza during the day WOW. What magic is in that sauce?? Also the main dining room- had some phenomenal dinners. They did our steak right and they know how to make a tender chicken. Soups were incredible. Main dining desserts were eh….the cakes at the buffet were INCREDIBLE. We are food people lol. The sushi place- They accommodated a veggie sushi for me which was amazing (allergic to fish).

The bartenders….heavy hands on the pours. Totally worth the package Lolol. They were amazing.

The hold on all my charges screwed us over heading home but it was all released by Christmas.

Nightclub…..whew. Someone tried to fight me. I’m too old for that so we did Havana the last night

I absolutely love this ship. Super excited to go back in May, but may need to think about a September sailing as well!

I was just on a 5 day cruise on the Islander. We had such a great time!! I had an interior cabin and I had twice a day service along with towels animals morning and night. The crew was awesome, food was good and entertainment was good. I have been on several cruise lines and this has been my favorite! Can't wait to go back!!

It was great meeting you guys while vacationing on the Sea Islander. I would have to agree with you on your review…..excellent cruise. My best impression of this cruise line is their excellent staff. They are very professional and personable.

We cruise a lot and just finished a 5 day cruise (Jan 5th cruise) on Islander. It was our first time with Margaritaville, and it was well beyond what we had expected! Speaking only from our experience on Islander - it was extra special! Everything from the food and the people working on the ship was so perfectly executed. We love that they now have half price wine night in the steak house on the first night. We love the fact they have gone out of their way to poach the very best in workers, it gives the ship an "old school" feeling of service. The experience we had was way above what we have been having on Carnival by far!! And a little note to make: After speaking to the future cruise planner "Pearl" we learned during the two major hurricanes last year they (Margaritaville) allowed people to rebook and not loose money due to the hurricanes. This was so refreshing to hear being we live in Western North Carolina and had complete devastation around us to the point of not being able to get out of our home town and to a Carnival cruise in Florida, loosing $3,500 even after pleading and explaining our situation. I do hope Margaritaville continues to build the brand and build it without conforming to the way other cruise-lines run things. Another thing to note is Margaritaville is making sure the employees are well taken care of, and it's greatly noticed in their smiling faces!
