The RTX2060 6GB was the underrated budget Nvidia card of 2022, it was widely available at retail below the price of the weaker RTX3050.
ОтветитьNividia next year:Lets do it again, now on the 4000 generation
ОтветитьI spent 200 on mine this week.
ОтветитьI'm a broke wannabe filmmaker so to me getting that used but pretty much brand new RTX 2060 with 12GB for 190€ is nothing short of a blessing.
ОтветитьIt’s use for me is that it’s basically a RTX 3060 with Windows 8.1 drivers.
ОтветитьYa know, I at least wish that when this kind of refresh happens, they give it the Ti moniker. Like 1060 3GB & 6GB, why not the OG 1060 then a 1060Ti? 2060 6GB & 12GB? original, then Super varient, then 2060Ti (Hey, the name sells & it would be a good way to help differentiate between 2060 types.... Though I wish the 2060 12GB would then be given the 256-bit bus)
ОтветитьI bought one of these at Canada Computers back in December for a machine used for editing 4k60 video from a DJI Osmo Action and basic edits in davinci resolve with color correction, stabilization, fusion titles and a bit of audio work get shit out at about 130fps. Not half fuckin bad for something I paid $329cdn plus tax for. Absolutely zero complaints.
ОтветитьI bought one a couple of weeks ago for like 270 dollars (ended up paying a little bit more than 300 because of the shipment) and so far... i'm pretty happy with it. My previous gpu was a 1050 Ti so this one was a big step up. I was considering the 3050 at first but apparently the 2060 it's still a little bit better and cheaper.
That being said, i don't know if i would totally recommend it, especially with the 4000 series around the corner.
....and it blows away a 3050 and a rx6500xt for the same price LOL
ОтветитьI have a 1660TI ever heard of it :)
Ответить8 months later (Aug 2022), they're in-stock at the EVGA store for $239... ok, I know nobody cares... but it's there.
Ответить9 months later: the crypto markets have crashed, every graphics card is back to MSRP (or lower!) and I just grabbed this 2060 12GB from EVGA in the video above for $239 new. Would have been $269 on Newegg or $279 on Amazon but EVGA's website actually had the steepest discount.
ОтветитьI got one used in like new condition for 300 I’m actually happy going from a 1650 super to this.
ОтветитьI just got 2060 12gb brand new for 250 euros on a sale 😅
Ответитьwell I found a 12 gb 2060 for like msrp so I gonna take it
ОтветитьNext...GTX 1630...''can't wait for that monster'' ;-DDD
Ответить69k likes!
ОтветитьThe core in the 2060 12gb is actually the 2060 Super core. It's still a substantial upgrade for some of the lower Pascal cards and the Maxwell cards, for anyone who still might be using one, which is a lot more people than you might think, based on the Steam hardware survey. I would even go as far as to say that it is competitive against the 1080 and 1080 Ti in certain circumstances, like with Raytracing on, or in games with DLSS support.
Ответитьimagine relaunch 20 series cards
ОтветитьI have a msi rtx 2060 gaming z and can't afford a 30 series so I hope the 20 series stays around
ОтветитьShould i buy this or rtx 3050 8gb?
Ответитьid like to see say 2 980ti sammiched together too obviously double the powaa!
Ответитьi just got this card lol
Ответитьi have to say i hate the white background
ОтветитьHow could this be any form of a win for consumers??????
ОтветитьI got my 2060 back in March 2019 for MSRP and I am so glad, it's still a decent mid-tier card, still plays everything I want in 1440p and I'm very happy with it.. going to be a while till I upgrade with these prices.
ОтветитьA 780 would still be an upgrade for me. :/
Ответитьgot a 2080 for $300 right before the 30xx launch. i thank my lucky stars every time i turn on my PC. i feel so bad for folks trying to get anything decent in the current market.
ОтветитьI don't get it, here the RTX 2060 12GB is $20 AUD more than some RTX 3060s. WTF!
ОтветитьThat poor prebuilt company that had to fulfill my 30 series order that I put through before they dropped. It took almost a year, but god damn I payed 1200 for a computer and the gpu is worth 1100 now. Thank you ibuypower, I forgive you for your phones being off the hook all the time.
ОтветитьYes,
Ответить28nm is one of the most popular node there is, its pretty much as utilized now as back in the day. Even GlobalFoundries that has no bleeding edge node has said that they are pretty much sold out for the next couple of years.
ОтветитьLove the angle/devil banter of this video. Great job and keep it up LTT!!!
ОтветитьAs someone still running a 970, this is decent. Although mines still chugging along like a car with several hundred thousand miles.
ОтветитьEveryone just needs to stop buying gpus right now. Let the scalpers have at it. Bet it won't last long. Unfortunately, human beings don't do anything good in cohesion, so this will never happen. 😔
Ответитьthat explore would be great for miners XD
ОтветитьLinus Tech Tips, you all do such a great job putting out high quality content, much like the quality of this comment's sponsor Hostess. Hostess offers a variety of sweet and tasty treats that are sure to satisfy you. If there's one thing that really stops me from watching more of your videos it would be the constant plugs of sponsors. Sponsors like Scotch brand tape. Scotch brand tape, the analog version of photoshop. I just thought I'd pop in and say something. Pop-Tarts.
Eat fresh.
I am tired this companies making linus suffer like this. not fair
ОтветитьWho would want a previous gen gpu?... cries in GTX
ОтветитьLinus calling this a win-win for consumers is some weapons grade copium right there.
ОтветитьI'm still rocking a rog strix vega56 8gb....looks like I will be rocking it a bit longer 😄
ОтветитьLTT: "Just as long as we don't go back much further than this..."
AMD: "HMB." <Releases the RX 6500-XT>
Hopefully, somewhere along the line, this 2060 re-release will push the rest of the market to become more reasonable. Especially when you even see board partners like ASUS sell 3060s at (or near) the MSRP of the 3090!!!
But I have no hopes. This will be another $1000+ card, despite being a 2060. If board partners have the fucking audacity to sell 3060s at $1000-1500, what is to suggest they won't do the same thing with the "new" 2060?
Gave up PC gaming for now, got a console and is happy thanks to a game subscription service.
ОтветитьMaybe one day I can upgrade from my 970.
ОтветитьDamnit Linus, I lost the game
ОтветитьLet’s be honest though people’s perception of what they need in game is exaggerated from influencers them self I have an old 12gb titan maxwell and play at 4K 30-60 FPS on most titles but these guys that get to play with all new make everyone feel like there older gear is lame but in reality it’s just fine.
ОтветитьWasnt this the best for mining, or it was amd?
Ответитьim scared my 960 will die and ill be screwed for years.
ОтветитьGraphic cards will never go back to MSRP.
Ответить
