UPDATE It seems Creality have been dishonest. Their website shows a 500W power supply but it is in fact a cheaper 350W one. Still better quality as it is Meanwell, but dodgy none the less.

Well the current price of the ender 3 Pro is now about $50 more than the original. They no longer ship it with the Meanwell power supply, but a UL approved clone. However, it now comes with a 32 bit processor board instead of the original 8 bit. I like the magnetic bed, I hope I can get replacements for it, but it looks like you have to buy both the bed magnet and the build sheet. I've given up on ABS, as PETG is SO much BETTER, so the 80C limit on the bed is not a deal breaker. Nylon would be a problem, but I haven't had the urge to try that yet. So I think the PRO is worth the extra money, especially when it's on sale!

I would never buy another creality printer again. i just bought the 3 s1 pro and it never has worked from the first day out of the box. Tech support sucks I cant find out what is wrong with it. So people, unless you have money to blow, I would not waste your money with them.

I print the same gcode file (a 20mm cube) on 2 different ender 3 pro machines. Both machines have same settings, same Esteps etc. One cube is 20mm high, but the other is 2.3mm high. I cant figure out what is happening. Same filament, same everything. Just 2 separate machines.

Got a Longer LK1 then the Ender 3 Pro, honestly I will never own another Creality product again. LK1 had hot end issue, Longer bent over backward to make it right asap. Ender bed warped to the point the nozzle is dropping pla onto the bed rather than extruding it in the middle 150mm x 150mm area, Creality won’t even acknowledge me with a 2 week old printer. I had to remove the bed and spend an hour with my DA and 320 paper to flatten the bed but its still doesn’t print as well as the unmodified LK1.Had I been thinking rationally I should have just gotten another LK1.

Hey Micheal I love your videos i know this video is 2 yes old I hope you still respond to them. Anyway I am in the market to buy a 3D printer to make windows for a model building i a making for my train layout and also just to play with when my nerves and nephews come over. I live in an apartment so I have very little space. I wanted to get the endor 3 pro but my wif says we don't have the room. Next I really like the easythreed cube printer and I am actually leaning towards that one because I am not going to make anything bigger then that. What do you think i should buy? This will be my first 3d printer I have never used one and love your videos but I am nervous about when I do buy one. Where do I start? How hot do you make the stuff you build? Is it always the same temperature? And can I use other filaments (companiesi mean)? Is the easy threed an open source printer? Finally is it hard to use the software on the computer and do I always have to use the SD card? Thank you so much sorry its alot hope you can give me some pointers thanks again.

Why do have background music? it is annoying, plus you are using the mic on Camera, which yields too much echo, add to that the background horror music, I can not make what you are saying.

Hi - I ordered a Ender 3 Pro after watching your video and following the link to BangGood. I've subsequently been looking at the reviews of about BangGood. Apart from the negative reviews on shipping there have been a number of comments about them shipping fake products. I'm now quite worried about the 3D printer I've ordered. What has your experience with BangGood been like and how can I tell whether I've received a genuine Ender 3 Pro?

I´m actually confused completly by all the printers ;) Right now I have to decide between Ender 3 / 3 pro / 5. Every Video tells my different pros and cons. Some tell ypu same the money and get an e3 with addon. Other tell me get the bigger one (e5) when you are not sure about the size. The quality seems to depend expremely on the settings and slicing? Can anybody help me please... Thank you

Good morning Michael. I have to say your videos are very informative. Lately I've been doing research on the Ender 3 pro and Geeetech A10 and I have settled on the Ender 3 Pro. Watching everything Ender 3 related I'm confident that this will be the best first first choice 3d printer as a beginner. With SKS, MKS and Octopi upgrades to follow as well as various printable parts while I learn the programming and my new printer. Thanks again for your very in-depth reviews and learning series. You've got a follower out of myself and that of my son and daughter.

I've had bad luck with removable bed with my ender-5. Pieces of lower surface seem to stick to bed and get torn off when repeatedly removing the base. I swithed to glass because of that.
I think it took perhaps a week of printing before the base started sticking in the base. Used only normal temperatures like 60C for PLA and a bit of 70-80C for PETG.

I bought 2 of these through Comgrow on Amazon. Both showed up with dents in the bottom Y axis bar. Its a pre-assembled bar, covered by the build plate during shipping. This imo is an obvious QC issue (and on an item they charge you extra for), since i had 2/2 that had this defect on it. I returned them both & got the regular Ender 3 just like I did last year & this one showed up with chips in the wheels. Creality's QC is a major issue right now & has me looking into other options when it comes to getting more printers for my studio.

Mine is a lemon. Micro SD is never recognized. Tried multiple SD card, including the one that comes with the printer. I've changed the gcode file name to remove all spaces, dashes, underscores, etc. since someone mentions printer is picky about file names I've reformatted the card with SD association formatter as someone else suggested. Jumped through all sorts of hoops, and still nothing works.

i had the wobble too on the base- but it happened when i was putting the z axis arms on, it definitely wasnt there before i did and i think it was because i turned it on its side and torqued the bolts down. i was able to loosen and tighten them while they were on a level surface and issue is resolved.
