I love your transparency and relatability! I’ve been fasting for years on 16:8/18:6 schedules and just started OMAD this week. The brain fog and exhaustion is real, so I just ordered your fast start kit! Hoping it helps me feel better through the longer fasts!

Thank you for sharing your journey. I am the same when it comes to yo-yo weight loss, and I started OMAD last week. So far lost 4 pounds as of last week but so far this week i am waiting to see if i drop more. I wanted to know if you work out daily and if so, is it mostly strength training or cardio? I just want to see how I can accelerate the weight loss. Also, I do not count calories, and I feel like I am eating a decent amount until I get full.

Girl I FEEL you. I lost 80 pounds with OMAD and then went back to my old binge-all-day habits. I gained the 80 pounds back AND 5 more pounds on top of that. Not only did I reverse all my progress, but because I gained the weight back so fast (yay for fat cells), I now have GIANT red stretch marks all over my lower stomach.

We can both do it!

This girl is so clueless please nobody take advice from her. She had no choice but to reverse diet? Lolll then she says she has atonnof muscle on here? Are we looking at same body no offense? This girl needs to go to a therapist and get her mindset right. Literally all she does is think of excuses and what she wants to think not reality

I recommend the book, "Fast. Feast.Repeat." by Gin Stephens to understand why consuming ketones during a fast doesn't help you burn more fat. If you're losing enough weight at 19 or 20 hours (or however long you're fasting before taking ketones), you probably don't need to do (23:1) OMAD. Just saying.

I dont know you personally. I have no idea what goes on behind the scenes.... but I feel like your whole issue is basically alcohol. It sounds like alcohol is the gateway to all that seems to be not going the way you'd like :(
I hope your strategies keep working for you bc just like Keto stops working for most people, fasting will at some point stop too. At least it was this way for me🙈
Maybe cutting our alcohol completely would help. Bc that really has zero value as a nutrient. Carbs I still get. But alcohol is just a booster to bad desicion I think.

But again: that's your life. I'm just a stranger on the internet. I hope you find your way. Wish you best of luck!!!

This is me when I got up to 169 lbs.. totally made me sick. I was 138 last year. I wish I had a friend to motivate me. I am a truck driver with my husband. Eating once a day is pretty easy for me. My doctor brain washed me and said it will ruin my metabolism. I am starting this, and cutting carbs.

I love an animal based way of eating!! I was keto and carnivore for quite a while and it was so restrictive and not working well for my body even though I lost weight. After doing that for a while, I fell off the wagon and went into a bulk and gained so much weight because I was eating anything I wanted. I then moved onto a balanced diet with Whole Foods and little to no processed foods and I still didn’t feel right and kept experiencing crashes throughout the day and felt terrible and it was not sustainable for me. Long story short, I ended up getting a cgm and found that everything that I was eating was spiking my insulin too high so I made the switch to animal based and now everything is falling into place and contrary to what people typically believe, the fruit and honey on animal based does not spike my blood sugar! I stop eating around 7pm and then typically start again the next day around 8/8:30am. You’ll find your perfect balance, just stick with it!! Your paintings are so pretty❤!!

Thank you so much for this! A year ago I lost 80lbs with Intermittent fasting my goal is drop 20 more then 50 more because I am very obese. Life has just been a little stressful and I’m trying to manage it as best as I can. When I started I was weight 309lbs then I was weighing 215lbs now I’m back at 230! It has made me so sad and I been trying my best to get back into it… I really needed this inspiration, to not stop but to just get back on! Thank you so much.

i read that the solution is to eat 4 days of the week a calorie deficit and then the other 4 days eat more calories or just saturday and sunday eat more calories, that way yo still loose weight but without your body getting used to it, so you keep loosing weight and also excersice helps too much, hope this helps everyone

You seem like myself. Putting so much of our self worth in that number on the scale . It seems pretty silly. If u actually think about it. I don’t want it too be this way but I did work so hard getting the weight off that when I gain weight I feel like a big fat failure. I don’t want it too be this way. But this is my sad reality at the moment I gained 13 pds and I feel sick of myself. Only time I feel strength is when I draw near too God. I feel whole and powerful but that’s another thing I need to work on my confidence in his plan for my life ❤ wishing you the best in what life has for you❤

Your restriction from the start was your first mistake. You should be eating 2000-2300 calories on omad with lifting weights you could have totally recomped your body with eating your maintenance calories. I hope you get results and are able to eat what your body needs. A toddler requires 1200 calories. I hope you reap the benefits of the reverse diet and your set point changes for your health.

Please read Gin Stephen’s “Fast Feast Repeat”- I know you sell them , but you don’t need ketones. That’s not fasting. Learn about the clean fast. If you want electrolytes, unflavored LMNT or a pinch of high quality sea salt is all you need.

I don’t comment often but the issue with OMAD, it’s a blessing and a curse. You get used to eating volumeous meals, so when you go off the tool of using OMAD for caloric adherence, you start to eat 2-3 meals of the quantity which really adds up the calories. OMAD is a great tool but it can be a double edge sword

Ashley , I love your honesty! You are such a strong woman and you can do anything!! we love you and support you no matter what your weight and what you decide to do!! You are so beautiful inside and out, and you just have to do what feels right for you in the moment, through the ebbs and flows of life. I had to go strict carnivore because of my tendencies to go off the rails. It’s the best decision I ever made. I can eat two meals a day of ground beef, egg yolks, sometimes liver, heart, kidney, salmon and lemon juice and for right now, it’s the best I’ve ever felt in my life. I know someday I might add limited carbs back in once I heal my gut I just have to accept the life is ever changing. I found that oxalate dumping is a big deal there’s always something!

Love you ! You are doing so great wherever you are at in your journey.

It is so brave of you to share it with all of us . 🥰

The algorithm suggested your channel and appreciate your sincerity. Only two videos in but was curious how much exercise you incorporate into your lifestyle. You lose weight in the kitchen, not the gym but was curious how regular exercise affects your hunger cycles. I walk a half hour in the morning followed by a 30 minute strength workout. I do that again in the afternoon. When I do OMAD, I find my body screaming to provide it some food to give it some energy. FWIW, I'm a keto guy, mainly because processed foods (while tasty), make me feel like ick with all of the bloating.
