Anyone else think that some of these guests Charlie has on the show are completely off base? There's a lot in this episode which feels like he's jumping to conclusions that he wants to believe. Like how giving to people is telling them they aren't capable of anything. Quite a reach. It reminded me of the old onion headline "parenting expert has nerve to tell you how to raise your own kids". I was getting the vibe that he was an Ayn Randian libertarian and reaching for a way to say transactions are morally superior to charity. Was not surprised at all when he said he used to be a venture capitalist.
