england played horrible for usa as a u.s. i think part was we played well and also they’re were off it was weird how dominant we were in some plays and first half we had more attacking creation . we need to beat iran or we go home

For England this should have the equivalent of like the 0-0 scotland game in the last euros but just by the fact it was the USA we were playing against and we had just come out of a 6-2 win (even if it was iran) it was a lot worse and all the criticism the england team got is valid they were very very sloppy, not just that the US team are incredibly unlucky not to have scored, they really did deserve to win. Assuming we don't get battered by wales we are in the clear so thats good but with this wc you never know

Was looking forward to it too, but the hype from the US end and the way England always seem to downplay these sorts of games balances everything out. As a Brit though I'm always happy whenever the US gets excited about the party the rest of us celebrate every four years.
