Please stop pretending to be an expert in things for which you aren't. Oh wait, you're a digital nomad so you're used to swindling people. Too bad you flunked out of med school. You would have a real job and wouldn't need to be scamming.

Could you please expand on the transportation? I have children so scooters are not possible and we would like to visit the mountains outside of the city, do Zipline, rafting etc . Thanks a bunch

Just, I recommend to avoid Chiangmai during early of each year (jan-apr). Air pollution will be very bad. Other than that, chiangmai is ok. However, I would recommend Nan or Chiangrai which are less popular but cheaper to travel.

Cheapest transportation usually is called indrive. If you rent a motorcycle or scooter make sure you know which handbrake controls front or back so you don't go head over heels. Some of the bikes are made for left hand driving and others are made for right hand driving. If you're from the US use a bank card for example Charles Schwab they will repay you any charges from ATMs.
