Ответитьshould have removed oil sump and replaced pickup, all this work could be wasted
ОтветитьHello, not sure of your name, but I follow quite a few videos of your work, my Peugeot is a 207 SW Diesel with 85000 miles on the clock, so you tips are very welcome, great video's please keep them coming, Geoff Lewis, Wales, UK, 🏴🏴🏴
ОтветитьAmazing video keep going, I really there are more benefits about Citroen c4 Picasso it same my car problem so I can solve it by my self.
Thank you very much
Interesting. You have had oil coming from the crankcase breather to the turbo - you modified it and added oil catch can. You still have had blue smoke from the exhaust and assumed that it was oil going to the intercooler. I have a lot of oil dripping from the crankcase breather, which is going into the turbine and the whole turbine is covered with the oil drips....So I can tell that a lot of oil must be going to the intercooler. I'm wondering why I don't have any blue smoke, nor clogged FAP filter... BTW, service, which works only with french cars assured me that it's normal for this motor at this milage to have oil dripping to the turbo and won't cause any further issue, which is insane! How can it be normal at all?!
ОтветитьGli ha fatto la benedizione
ОтветитьBel lavoro
ОтветитьSome great content that will really help people out, I also have blue smoke on start up which has done it from 30k 7 years on its getting slightly worse it's not the valve stem seals doesn't blow any smoke after pulling away from idle would be interesting in getting to the bottom of this.
Ответитьcan you explain the oil catch can /new pipes ? how it works , what it does, and the benefits? many thanks good vids!
ОтветитьGreetings for your Work , i Think I have the same problem , well , my car its c4 picasso 2009 and it gas blue smoke but not only when its cold even if its warm its blue smoke on the exhaust . Idk should replace the turbo ?
ОтветитьThank you so much for your videos. They’re without doubt the best I’ve come across for working on my 308 1.6 hdi due to your thoroughness. I had low oil pressure warnings but the turbo thankfully seems to be fine. I removed the sump and replaced the pick up as it was clogged. I also removed the filter from the turbo oil feed. All reassembled and running much quieter with no low oil pressure warnings. Only downside is I now have the dreaded depollution system faulty warning! Going to connect to the ODB2 to see what codes I get.
ОтветитьDo you really need to remove the catalytic converter in order to change the turbo cartridge? Is it just the front heat shield the one that is in the way of the wastegate lever? How much does the turbo cartridge cost? Low MAP readings as well as smoke at start-up were the reasons to change the turbo cartridge?
ОтветитьI have the same car i would love to bring mine to for a full service also I like your videos they are so informative your attention to detail is second to none keep up the good work
ОтветитьCould you give me an advice please. I ruined the turbo by not paying attention to the oil on the turbo sled.
Changes that preceded the destruction of the turbo. I replaced the valve cover, oil, oil filter and air filter as a precaution.
After these changes, now i register the oil at the output of the valve cover.
Note: Prior to these changes, the turbo had very slight axial and radial play. It is now destroyed.
Now I have no idea how to prevent oil from coming out of the valve cover.
Thanks in advance
The correct amount of torque for the oil bolt 🔩 is 21Nm.
ОтветитьThanks very much
