Whenever someone is negative to me, I think of this quote from Ted Lasso.
ОтветитьThis really felt good
ОтветитьI’ll never tire of this scene, perfect in every way. It is truly one of the most beautiful moments in TV, resonating far beyond a sweet, quirky series. This scene is canon & the show, Ted Lasso, a master class of quality TV.
ОтветитьBarbecue sauce
ОтветитьThis is season 1, episode 8, since "Ted Lasso Reacts" can't be bothered to provide a shred of info, except for how to buy their unlicensed, bootleg crap merch.
ОтветитьThis already great scene is even better now in retrospect after season 2.
ОтветитьRupert was curious tho. He literally asks him if he likes to play darts then Ted lies and tells him he's more of a cornhole guy then later says he played darts for years. TED LASSO SITS ON A THRONE OF LIES
ОтветитьI love how proud Mae looks while Ted is talking😊😂 Like a proud mother who knows she did a good job raising her child lol
ОтветитьHow is Ted Lasso the 1st time I’ve heard this quote
Ответитьagree with miss mabel, and also note that Rupert isn't the only one that has underestimated Ted. Likely everyone other than Coach, including Rebecca. In that instant she glimpses his life and journey and all that. Trent Crimm got it over the course of a day. Keeley and Nate got it early, and Jamie got it in a note on the bus.
ОтветитьThis would be so funny if he completely whiffed the last shot
ОтветитьCarry this with you for the rest of your days! We will all benefit from it.
ОтветитьI love that scene, so much.
ОтветитьThis scene is easily the best in the series. This scene will never be ursurped of that title. As time goes on I genuinely believe this will be referenced as one of the greatest scenes in t.v history. It's heartbreaking, heartwarming and massively inspiring while also stimulating introspection of ones self in a way that is nothing short of absolutely profound. Merely thinking of this scene gets the waterworks going. This scene in and of itself makes me completely, earnestly want to be a better person. Not just the idea that I should, but the actual willingness and want to be a better, more caring person than I currently am
ОтветитьAnthony Stewart Head is playing a guy named Rupert, who is marrying a blonde woman several years younger than Buffy. Yikes.
ОтветитьCaptions please? Some of us have hearing loss.
ОтветитьThis scene hits so much harder when you have seen all of Ted’s story.
Ответитьdoes anyone know the artist referenced at the end of this video? Would love to lookup more of his work.
ОтветитьGod I love this show ♥
ОтветитьI rarely hear a quote that actually resonates with me. I've adopted this as a mindset to help with my people pleasing and anxious personality, obsessing over first impressions and doubting myself. So uplifting for me!
ОтветитьYou know this whole show is just all Apple product placement
ОтветитьIf only life was full of justice this sweet…
ОтветитьHe says Barbecue sauce because
ITS A KANSAS CITY MASTERPIECE
HOLY SHIT.
Best moment in the series!
ОтветитьBarbeque sauce!
ОтветитьTed reverse Inigoed Rupert.
ОтветитьWhenever I know about to win something I quietly smile and quip “barbecue sauce.”
ОтветитьI can’t believe that no one else noticed that Rupert is sitting there drinking champagne like a rich prick in the pub. It’s like he wants to look like an asshole to all the “normal” folk who are just drinking beer.
ОтветитьWholesome show!
ОтветитьScenes like this turn what would have been an alright show into one of the best out there.
ОтветитьI can't begin to explain how this particular scene changed my life. I am achiever but I always felt I was up against a wall, feeling depressed and burnt out. My wife to cheer me up put this series. Although the series in itself is amazing, every word in the clip resonates with me. You gave me something to hold on that day that will remain with me for ever. For the one who wrote these lines. You made me peaceful ✌ from inside. You made me change the way I see the world. Just that Ted saw it on the board and I saw it in this clip.
Ответить"Barbeque sauce."
ОтветитьTed had grown men crying
ОтветитьI love the Bullseye barbeque sauce reference
ОтветитьThe Man City episode makes this beautiful and heart breaking
ОтветитьWho are the 3 losers who disliked this?
ОтветитьI've watched this scene a dozen times, and every time I tear up.
ОтветитьOne of the best moments of any show I’ve seen, love it
ОтветитьBBQ sauce...👌👌👌 Best script writing of 2020.
ОтветитьNotice prior to Ted's monologue, Rebecca looks down at her watch. But once he begins, her attention increases when he talks about his dad's passing. Perhaps this is the first time she begins to comprehend what Ted is all about. That brief glimpse in the background, present but subtle.
ОтветитьWatched this show for comedy but it was more than that❤️
Excited for 2nd season 🎉
Someone accidently hit the thumbs down button on this video.
ОтветитьStill makes me sad when he says “from age ten ‘till I was sixteen when he passed away.”
ОтветитьI shared this everyone. I have a friend who is a guidance counselor who uses this scene with her kids. It has become part of my personal philosophy.
ОтветитьT20 T20 Bull....10-16 you say 🤔
ОтветитьRupert calling Young Rebecca a "consolation prize" is all you need to know about the man.
ОтветитьGreat show, Ted Lasso is Ausome!
