Thanks Kerrod. This is possibly the clearest explanation I've seen on how to swing the club on iron shots (and I've seen a lot).
ОтветитьWow, you are the first person to be able to demonstrate why I’m pulling my shots in such a way that it makes sense. I am definitely your number 2 example because that’s the feeling I’ve trained to purposefully. For weeks, I’ve tried to have my trunk pull my arms through. Thanks so much for this. I’ll incorporate this drill today because I’m tired of missing so far left.
ОтветитьWow, this tip helped me SO MUCH! I watched it before I played today, then worked on the range before the round to get the feel of dropping my hands straight down. Played my best round of the year - 71 - and my ball striking was so solid. THANKS!
ОтветитьGood explanation.
ОтветитьBest way ? STOP listening to the BS about the ‘Over the Top’ from the so-called Miracle golf Swing/alleged Ben Hogan ‘expert’. You want to his straight?. Get the clubhead path ‘straight’ …and that is impossible with an OTT movement
ОтветитьBest online lesson Ive seen.. this was a lightbulb moment for me. Just realized Im spearing my handle at the ball. Cheers
ОтветитьThis is exactly my problem. I gave up golf for 20 years, and taking it back up, I'm hittting the ball well most of the time, but I seem to pull all my short irons left, and sometimes pull longer irons and fairway woods as well. This would explain it, as my arms are locked to the body, and pulled downward by my leg drive and weight shift. You have explained the solution perfectly, and I see exactly what you are doing. Now, can I replicate it without hitting the ball fat? We shall soon see. ;)
ОтветитьSo 90 percent of your video is you repeatedly showing the a bad swings
ОтветитьAwesome video 😊...now I know. Thanks💯
ОтветитьIm practising this tomorrow. Thanks
ОтветитьDoes the feeling of dropping your hands work with the driver too?
ОтветитьIt's all caused by swinging across the lap. In both descriptions the hands are faster than the hips, they get out in front of the hips, and as the hip turn speeds up-late-causing a swing path to cut across the lap. Knowing this is the easy part. Stopping it is the hard part.
ОтветитьI have been pulling my shots for some time now and have been offered several solutions which never worked. After watching this video, I went out on the golf course and, not only did it fix this problem, I was hitting longer and more accurately. Thanks, great video
ОтветитьThis is exactly what I have to do. Everything you say that’s wrong is what I’m doing
ОтветитьI’m glad I stumbled on this video because you explain exactly what happens to me. So many shots going straight left! Thank you for showing what to do about it in such a clear way!
ОтветитьCertainly worth a try. Thanks. I’m torn ethically however. If this works I could put a number of fellas who collect lost golf balls out of a job!!!
ОтветитьI keep hitting a fade and when I try to adjust for it, damn thing goes straight left.
ОтветитьWhy is it when I tee the ball up (par 3's) I hit it straight, but when I'm on the fairway I tend to pull my ball more???
ОтветитьLet's start with a concept,😂 how about the concept that the club face is pointing left?? How about starting there.....ahh there's no money in that 😂
ОтветитьThe 3rd pull is “ oh my gosh I’m out of sequence” . Great explanation
ОтветитьI have the opposite problem, suddenly my balls are slicing to the right; on the irons only.
Driver has gotten very straight as it’s the main club I’ve been practicing over the past 5 months or so.
Thanks buddy !! I am on that 👏👏
ОтветитьGreat video. Very visual and makes it easier to follow the approach. As a lefty on par threes I pull it right it seems every other time.
ОтветитьIt always amazes me how simple these little fixes are, yet you don't realize it till someone shows you. This is exactly what I needed to see, thank you.
ОтветитьGood vid. Your “bad” shots are better than my best shots 😢
ОтветитьThat’s definitely me. I hit it pure but left. Can’t wait to work on this. Thank you
ОтветитьFound when I say seventeen during swing my tempo makes it good feeling of club dropping.used to say Ernie Els or Cindy Crawford but found VJ Singh's 'Seven teen'.fits my tempo best.

Justin Rose missed cut at Open..one of my favorite players...I now will thing of his preswing dropping club..wonder if picking left lower quadrant of ball to hit might would help keep club inside...think will stick to your preswing dropping the club get the feel the motion rather thand add to my 35 swing thoughts on the backswing.
Thanks your concise instruction

I think this would explain a miss I had the other day. I had about 115 yds in and my divot point straight at the flag, but my ball missed 15 yards left on the green. It wasn’t a hook or draw either. So I’m thinking I pulled the handle down too much and pulled it left.
ОтветитьGreat video. I always struggke with pull lefts, be interesting to see how that works. Would that be the same with the driver? As i have low snap hooks with that.
ОтветитьThe message is good but far, far too repetitive. I couldn’t finish watching till the end as the repetition was ‘doing my head in’
ОтветитьGreat vid! I’ve seen this drill before but a big question is when you are pulling down from the top, what matchup is needed/shallowing technique so that the force pulling down on the grip doesn’t steepen the shaft to much and send the clubhead out over the top. Thank you so much in advance! Keep up the great content !
ОтветитьJustin Rose does ... LOL! I was just going to say this looks like Rosie's pre-shot routine!
ОтветитьThis is exactly what i do.
ОтветитьYou make the cause very clear. The "pro" cure for this looks difficult to achieve. I'll have to give the drop and rotate technique a try on the range. I seem to get pulls when I try to swing too fast.
ОтветитьVery good explanation. Gonna try this and see if it helps me. Thanks.
ОтветитьThis is right up my street. Then you thank you. 👍🥃🇨🇦
ОтветитьExcellent explanation
ОтветитьTY,TY,TY for 3 yrs I have been trying to figure this out, especially pulling short irons and short pitches. Went out in my yard,I have 6 acres, after 2 attempts with A wedge badda bing. Now I ghave to practice up the iron scale.
ОтветитьJust to add to my previous comment. Today I worked on this move dropping the arms. I found for my irons it worked great but when I went to the driver it took some work to get the release timed properly So I think with driver it requires morpractice in timing the release. I found that releasing earlier in that downward move worked best. Thanks again…
ОтветитьTerrific instruction on this swing concept. This describes exactly how my game was today. The drill seems spot on and I will take it to the range this week. It’s so frustrating to hit a great drive, have a short iron in and yank it to the left. Happened at least 3 times today. Thanks Kerry.
ОтветитьBloody excellent I’ve been wondering why my shots have been going left with a draw finish. Cheers.
ОтветитьOutstanding 👍👍👍
ОтветитьYou just sove one of my biggest problems. Thank you
ОтветитьThank you. Thank you! I pull the ball exactly as you have stated. I go through periods when I play pulling the freakin ball. I am going to the range and practice dropping my arms. Excellent explanation and remedy.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьGreat explanation. Thank you. I am pretty sure that this is my issue
ОтветитьThank you for the video. That's exactly the issue I have. I'll practice the drill you provided in the video next time in the range.
ОтветитьSomeone told me to act as if I’m dropping my hands and letting the club drop. This is demonstrating exactly what he said to me. Thank you
ОтветитьNice!
