Does it film videos?

Do not expect the performance you see in vidios with the monocular alone. It is a fixed 10X magnification monocular. It does not zoom without attaching it to something else like a phone. The adds are very deceiving.

Why bother making a fake video about a fake video... ?

You couldn't see the craters because you were looking at the moon with the sun shining directly at it, during a full moon, so the craters weren't casting shadows. The ad did it in a different lunar cycle where the sun's light was coming from very a different angle, causing longer shadows on the moon

This monocular telescope is a scam please dont buy, I already bought two but its not that far as you get like the one in you tube.

On my Xiaomi phone with a 200MP camera it is not far from the commercial hard to tell the difference

If you zoom from Burj Khalifa then you will freaking see where Buzz Aldrin took a shit on the moon

If I were to look at a vehicle (or a person) from 15 miles away, could I see it with this monocular?

Look how far earth is from the moon to start with..if you wait till the moon is closer when the orbit brings us closer together you maybe will get the craters..I got mine in the post yesterday cost me £11.19p of eBay and it's brilliant..I just need to know how the back adjusters work .

On their add it said it’s original $95 but the brought it down to $79 but since they are doing so good you save more at $47. That’s not how it usually goes. When the product does well they usually goes up in price. When it doesn’t do well selling that’s when it goes drastically down in price cause a consumer doesn’t want to by it anymore. That’s a red flag when you read the ad. I have never bought this product cause I read the ad and I know what it mean when prices go down it means it’s no good.

The craters will show up far better when it's a part moon, as the shadow is cast over them

Junk. I bought one. I have a cheap pair of big box store binoculars that I used to compare it to. The cheap binoculars worked better.

Why didn't you zoom into the windows of the apartment building? That seems better than a stupid moon.

BUT, the commercial shot you showed earlier was of a less than full moon where you see craters much better, instead of the washed out picture of a straight on full moon.

Best getting a superzoom camcorder, gives a much better picture and the moon isnt orange :)

youre not going to see crap with this.... for that aperture youre better off with a decent finderscope..... its not just the apwrture (which is pretty much useless for stargazing) the quality of the thing is horrendous.
astronmy reviewer ed ting (who is supported by nasa btw) has a great review on this garbage
