How fun this was!! Mr Zebra showing his graceful running...Sebakwe watching the boys..and these two beautiful young bulls showing off their strength! Zindoga did NOT like Mambo chasing off his precious Pisa! In the end Zindoga scores for this round!! I realized just how much I missed seeing the whole Herd family! Its funny to think of Zindoga running away from the hippo...given his strength and size 😄 These young bulls are magnificent looking Ellies! ♥♥

At the Reteti elephant sanctuary in Kenya, when they were forced to switch to pasteurized goats milk from human milk formula they said it improved survival of the youngest and most vulnerable orphaned calves. Maybe Phabeni would like goat or sheep's milk to get past this difficult period.

How long is it left for Mambo & Zindoga to stay with the herd? They are about young adults, and bulls, whether we like it or not, have to leave their herds at one point in their lives...

Luckiest ellies in all of Africa. A place to play in, swim in, mud bathe, sand bathe, eat till you bust and have people look after all your physical health has got to be good right? They even don't have to go and get birth control. All taken care of. Even a secure place to sleep and not have to worry about the lions and others. Sooo good for them.
