A few things to consider.
1) India doesn't allow dual citizenship. OCI is not a dual citizenship....more like an 'Indian Green Card'. So this is one thing
2) The Indian passport is not as strong as the Canadian or USA passport. Maybe it is was more useful, they would keep it.
3) Need more higher paying opportunities in India. They are moving for work.
So that is the thing. This is why.
FYI my cousin from Mumbai became a Canadian in December 2023.
Vishwakuru modi Ji is number one reason.once you become another citizen then you can praise mudiji but you won't be affected by his stupidity 😂😂 what a masterstroke especially by gujjus..
ОтветитьAnd what do you expect from a indian.indians are always ready to leave this hell.
Ответитьi Love india but still i will give up my Citizenship if i get the opportunity to permanently settle abroad 😮
ОтветитьEven India's neighbouring country Sri Lanka offers It's citizens the option to have Dual Citizenship.
ОтветитьOnly those of the comfortable class can afford to leave!
ОтветитьUSA is 9 times Canada's population and 13 times Australia's.
So they are becoming a larger minority in Australia first and Canada second than in the US
Having Dual nationality is an ego boosting as well as a profitable status ,an NRI is also a beneficial status, it actually divides hamans into 3 casts ,lowest is single nationality of 3rd world and highest is dual nationality
ОтветитьIndians are moving to canada and US because these countries have best sewage treatment and disposal systems in the world, while India has no such facilities. India disposes all its sewage underground in the belly of so called mother India.😮
ОтветитьIf the media doesn’t know why, then that is also one reason why many educated people are leaving?
ОтветитьIndians are great I welcome Indians into America over any other. Indians are peaceful and very friendly. They are not like crazy Arabs 😅. Indians apply themselves and many I know have big beautiful houses. They are educated and are really happy to live the dream. 😅 I love Indian food 🥘
ОтветитьThats a Great Move from Indian Students
ОтветитьI'm also leaving within 2 years.
ОтветитьReasons:
Crony capitalists are ruling india,
No equality in justice.
Media gone to dogs.
BYJUS selling fear to middle class
Education gone to corporate coaching mafia
Do u even hv to Ask this question ❓
ОтветитьIndians dont give up Indian citizenship, Indians take other country's citizenship for the ease of working and travelling. not the same thing. If Indian govt allow duals citizenship, they will keep both Indian and foreign citizenships gladly
ОтветитьWhy do you speak like you are angry?
ОтветитьIm getting American ctizenship this year .I love India but America is good place to live especially for ladies. We enjoy equal rights and freedom
ОтветитьWhy don’t Indians just stay in India 🇮🇳 and help improve India 🇮🇳?
ОтветитьWhy don't Indians go to Russia?? You're always gloating how much love you have for Putin's Russia, you should be moving en masse to that paradise. There's plenty of space to accommodate plenty of people.
ОтветитьPalki, you asked a very good and simple question: Why so many Indians giving up their Indian citizenship? You know the answer/s. Don't pretend you don't know the answers. One Indian guy studying in Melbourne, Australia told me: " we, Indians, must try to get another passport/citizenship because vast majority of countries would not allow Indians (and Pakistanis and Bangladeshis) in their countries without visas. Look at these numbers please. There are about 180 countries in the world. The top of the list are Singapore and Japan, visa free to about 170 countries. India only about 45 countries visa free (Pakistan about 35 countries visa free and Bangladesh about 40 countries visa free). Little islands such as Trinidad and Tobago, and island of Mauritius, their citizens can go visa free to about 150 countries. Why such hugh difference between small Trinidad and Tobago/Mauritius and big India? Most Indians know the answer/s. Of course, there are many other reasons why so many many millions of Indians want to migrate to other rich countries and try to get their citizenships. Indians deserve better.
ОтветитьToo much competition in India and Less salary. Slow development. No football stadiums. Infrastructure is good in certain areas. Its developing stage so thats the reason.
Ответитьhow can i immigrate to India????🇮🇳
ОтветитьMoney
ОтветитьIts also a question of cheap labor
ОтветитьThe government and godi media are trying their best to paint a "too rosy picture" about the Indian economy. The reality is too bad when it comes to the ground level. Fewer jobs for educated people, over populated, dictatorship type ruling, religious fights, persecution of minorities and absolutely no freedom of expression are the main reason. Me and my family is settled in Scotland and we got our citizenship 6 months ago. What should I do if I come back to India? Why should I surrender all my personal and religious freedom in Scotland? I am from Kerala and record number of Keralites (especially Christians) are fleeing from the state to Europe and other western countries. Having said that, most number of immigration is happening from Modi's Gujarat. To be honest, I have no hope for my state and the country. I have NO plan to return to India.
ОтветитьCause living in India, well it sux!😂
ОтветитьNo jobs in India.
ОтветитьWhen I first landed in Canada an Indian scammed us at Vancouver International Airport.
ОтветитьAllow dual citizenship. Offer cheap flights. Real estate ownership incentives . People go back and forth.
ОтветитьAlways been that way since 47. Time to track the reverse flows too.
ОтветитьIm also NRI but i'll not give up on my indian citizenship. No way.
ОтветитьYoung Indian men are rude and dishonest. They are always looking to cheat the system. Young Indian women on the other hand are polite and pleasant. I think India has a culture problem.
ОтветитьHonestly it's because of godi media
ОтветитьModi ji's Clean India Program 🤩🤩
ОтветитьDon’t wanna be surrounded by cows, stray dogs and shit. So, they choose to leave. Simple as that 🤷♂️
ОтветитьSeems Modi is doing well 🙄
ОтветитьCompetition for everything, reservation is killing us...the day govt realises this we'll be a better country.
ОтветитьBecause they have no future in INDIA thats why they leave INDIA to USA CANADA UK AUSTRALIA FOR BETTER FUTURE😢😢😢
ОтветитьRatan Tata is the best❤
ОтветитьThe record numbers are not concerning..it makes me happier😅 now as they are going there would be less competition in jobs😂
I have no plans of leaving india also can't afford that...one day india will be a developed nation till then just enjoying the process being in the country❤
Because we are a very corrupt nation, from a normal government peon to high office boss. They all ask for money to do basic job done. I'm trying to change my address which they messed up and no one is on their post, no one respects actual education. Criminals are getting elected, their children are running the system. People can get away with murder if they pay enough. People actually have no respect for public places. Every park has gutkha marks or someone pissing right in the open.
ОтветитьBecause of
MODI policies
Your bottom feeder PM is manipulating with Invisibility and using it in civilians. Using Ar.y, navy, airforce.
ОтветитьPeople may be fed up with Modi's Hindu fascism.
ОтветитьThe issue is that in all those countries, no one wants them as there's too much of them.
ОтветитьMy reason to renounce Indian citizenship and embracing an EU citizenship is very simple: Acceptance of my son's disability and the accessibilities. My son has a diagnosis of High functioning Autism, Dyspraxia and social communication disorder. At home in India, there are no supports in mainstream school curriculum to support children like my son. He would have slipped through the radar if he had been in an Indian mainstream curriculum. Here in EU mainstream curriculum, he was provided with resource hours where he was given 1 on 1 support for the children with special needs, he was able to access Autism special class when he was observed to be overwhelmed or observed to be needed a break from the mainstream class. He had access to special needs assistance in class who helped him in organising his classroom materials. He had access to assistive technology as his handwriting was not legible enough, he had extra hours in state exams due to his dyspraxia, he had exemption from language subjects for state exam and he had access to a full clinical team (Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Occupational therapist, Speech and language therapist and a social worker) who supported the school for him to reach his full potential in academics. He also did an applied curriculum in a mainstream school for his final (+2) exams. He is now in an University doing Animation and Artificial Intelligence. He has access to learning support at University who supports him with his assignments and other learning needs. We are not stressed about his future anymore. Above all when he is out in public no unusual behaviour of his attracts people. Our local supermarket has 2 specific times in a week for people with Autism where softer music are being played, lights are being dimmed, shoppers are requested to maintain silence (and they do so), this helps my son to shop without having ear defenders on or getting agitated. No one stares at him when he throws tantrum in public. If my son with special needs can have these at home in India I doubt I would have renounced my citizenship.
ОтветитьThere are more than several comments here that mention the following pointers with regards to Indias burdgeoning citizen exodus issue:
1. High taxation, but low return in public facilities and services (potentially institutionalised corruption)
2. Bribery by officials. Example, the granting of lland rights for housing/property development (clear corruption)
3. Poor transportation networks/infrastructure
4. Poor/non-existent sense of road traffic rules
5. Public sanitation issues (filth/dirt and excessive trash on the streets).
6. Too much Pollution and fumes.
Give that this is a running theme, especially from those currently living in India, why then is there not enough pressure being put on the govt to tackle these? Are these not being bought up in parliament, and if they are why has there been no real impetus by the govt over the last decade to remediate these issues rather than deciding to enact ridiculous reforms/bills like the demonetisation bill, the citizenship amendment act, farmers bills and others, which the govt surely should have foresaw would have resulted in the public upheavel they encountered? Following next elections, the Gov't has a strong obligation to tackle these items with priority as part of their manifesto.
Why are Indians seeking foreign nationals what is wrong with India guess the brain drain continues we have reached 4 trillion yet how has it worked for anyone be a tax payer or non payer
