ОтветитьI got my highland since November, 3000km in, I love how it drives, I love the new interior, but now after 2 months I miss the old model 3 nose. In general I do not regret the purchase, it has lots of real range, can confirm you can get 500-550km out easily highway driving. Non Stalks are not an issue at all.
ОтветитьSome of my thoughts after driving the new Model 3 (as an owner of a 2022 Model 3):
1) It's much smoother. This is the biggest improvement by far.
2) I do not like the steering wheel that much. Not just because of the missing stalks, but the overall feel just isn't as nice. They've also put the leather stitching on the back of the steering wheel instead of the inside, which means you can feel it with your hands whereas you couldn't before.
3) I did not find the sound system to be noticeably better. The mid-bass which I can feel in my chest in the 2022 Model 3 does not hit as hard in the 2024 version, even though the volume of the bass is still very high. I think this is because they're using the subwoofers for some of the frequencies which would have previously come from the door woofers, but I'm not sure.
4) I still prefer the exterior look of the old one. The front of the new one is a bit boring in my opinion.
Does it have front and rear gigacastings?
ОтветитьI hate apple CarPlay or android auto don’t know why people want that
ОтветитьIf Tesla could make Model 3 interiors look like a Genesis GV60, with light brown leather instead of that ridiculous white leather option - that referee/warhol motif, they might appeal to those who are otherwise turned off by the Stalinesque, soulless, spartan interiors they have now. I'm glad they're moving on (well, inching slowly away) from the thumbnail-on-wheels appearance. That range is quite impressive.
Keeping Elon out of the spotlight is great for sales. People can focus on the cars again.
internal combustion for the win or maybe hybrid
ОтветитьI wonder if the paint is still soft af.
ОтветитьPerformance bucket seats are coming.
Ответитьman no stalks is TRASH. blinkers as buttons!? thats terrible!
ОтветитьIndicators on the steering wheel is perhaps the stupidest decision ever.
ОтветитьI bought the performance boost upgrade for my dual motor model 3 and it's a lot of fun to drive.
ОтветитьI really don't think that they are going into the right direction with this minimalistic interior.
ОтветитьAnd u should not forget, its well built because it comes out of the Giga Shanghai Factory. Panel gaps on the Fremont made one could be little off. And I will be getting the shanghai model luckily
ОтветитьThe old one looked better
Ответитьpower lift gate was not standard (might be now, I dunno) on the older 3s. So that's a big difference in and of itself.
ОтветитьUltra red performance shall be mine ! Q2🤞🏽
ОтветитьI also ordered a Tesla model 3 long range. I am very proud of myself to be able to afford it at the age of 28. Gotta sign the contract and then it will be good to go
Ответитьlosing that nearly $10k tax incentive is rough...
ОтветитьAs a model 3 2020 owner, my only gripe with the cabin is that it's TOO quiet!! Living in LA i find myself cracking the window at intersections and idling so i can be better aware of my surroundings.
ОтветитьOverall, I’m pretty impressed with the refresh, I like the new design, it no longer looks like a bloated fish, I still think the Model S is prettier but this isn’t too far off. I love everything in the interior apart from the buttons on the steering wheel. First of why did they use capacitive touch buttons, they are simply just not as user friendly especially in a car where you have to focus on the road, and I don’t like the getting rid of stalks. To end on a positive note, ventilated seats is such a huge plus
ОтветитьEverything being done through the screen is the main reason I'd never buy a Tesla. Way to sterilise the driving experience. My friend has a Model 3 and I much prefer driving my ancient Nissan Cube 😂 Gimme chunky knobs, dials and analogue gauges over an iPad any day.
Ответитьsaw this in vienna today
ОтветитьHow are you supposed to use the blinkers when you want to exit a roundabout?
ОтветитьSeeing the trunk open this will never drive in the EU. Main lights are not allowed to be on movable parts
ОтветитьStill twice the price of the likes of a BYD or MG4 (at least here in NZ). I wouldn't call it a "starter" EV.
ОтветитьThe "heat map" is basically useless. You cannot depend on it.
ОтветитьSo how does the blinker work? Is there a half blinker that we get with stocks? And how do you cancel?
ОтветитьElon and Tesla Motors are doing it but look like another Company Brand Car no stocks for shifting from drive to backing up oh if your program screen goes down then what things do fall out were are all the charges stations know that have to get one at ur place but are they on every hywy flagship better have many charge ing stations all over
ОтветитьHoping they do a refresh on the Y soon; would love a model S myself but they only make that in left hand drive for the uncivilised masses in the world.
ОтветитьSince I bought FSD when it was just 5k, and it's not transferable, buying an upgrade is completely out of the question, paying 10k for FSD on the new car is just unhinged. I've never seen a company core function that has such a strong effect to deter new purchases.
Ответитьyou are impressed as hell, you are with the money that Tesla offered you to promote a car with cancer
ОтветитьWhich camera?
ОтветитьPls at least spend a 2 min with googling next time to fact check what you say 🙏🙏
- that extra door notch is for the door's rigidity in collisions
- the extra soundproofness comes from ... the extra soundproofing in the side windows (they are much thicker)
- model Ys have all glass roofs too (without the middle bar)
- you did not even mention the adaptive headlights 😢
(Love your other videos but they are a lot of misinformation about Teslas out there please don't add to it 😢)
Still looks like an NPC car
ОтветитьI want it!
ОтветитьIn Europe, there is growing concern that the introduction of Chinese electric vehicles (EVs) could pose a significant financial risk to the region's automotive industry. As a result, there is a reconsideration of plans to transition away from internal combustion engines (ICEs) in favor of EVs. The fear is that the influx of Chinese EVs may lead to substantial financial losses for European automakers. Consequently, there is a renewed contemplation of extending the lifespan of internal combustion engines for a more extended period to navigate potential economic challenges in the automotive sector.
ОтветитьMy question….. is it good enough to sway a Model S owner? I love my Model S and thought it was miles better then the older Model 3….
ОтветитьNo stalks is just so dumb.
ОтветитьWant one so bad!
ОтветитьI feel like Tesla had a slam dunk with this one. It feels so refreshed.
ОтветитьCanon R5.....I thought this channel was filmed on smartphones
ОтветитьCool!✌️
ОтветитьIsn't it illegal not to have fixed tail lights? If you get stuck in this car at night and get out to open your boot, there's no way an oncoming car can see you.
