His Father was real KING of PUNJAB the true Punjab not today's Punjab it's divided now. His father was never defeated till death he faced huge armies Even British empire was lost from him when he died we lost PUNJAB kindest and most fearless King of our Mharaja RANJEET SINGH

I watched punjabi version and extremely disappointed with the community of the time as they certainly PI%%ED off Queen Victoria, the independence was possible in the late 1800s, as a sign of power she extended to another 50 years until Gandhi came along, if the prince Dulip Singh was muslim he would of charmed Queen Victoria, stood by her side on the balcony until it was safe to return, instead we have a prince who betrayed the Queen, had no personality and couldn’t pull the Monarchy! His ashes will possibly as a sign of power of betraying the Queen (who in the punjabi version he calls ‘ma meaning mother) will possibly have to wait another 50 years until they can be buried in Lahore (PUNISHMENT) - provided the Royal Family allow it to happen.

His maharajah of India title can possibly never be restored, maybe the behaviour of the time was the reason of exile.
Also, indirect message of the time Queen Victoria and her advisor was very clever he/she knew the meaning of ‘you have cut my nose off’ in India in that time meaning in other words you have taken my honour respect. Queen Victoria recruited Surgeon Logan for the prince from the age of 5 - indirect message ‘your nose has been chopped off’ meaning the above honour, respect and don’t go back to India, I defeated your kingdom, it does make you chuckle though a message in disguise.
British did the right thing, along came Gandhi much later BETTER EVERYTHING!
