Death Stranding - All Endings [4K]

Hated this game at first. I thought it was boring, couldn't understand how Hideo could put something out that, at the time to me, was absolutely irritating and frustrating me. Put it away for 2 years. When I say hated I mean it was my top hated anything. Finished it the other night.....holy crap was I wrong. What a Masterpiece. I was crying like a baby, I wanted to slap Kojima and hug him tightly. What an emotional roller coaster. All that boring stuff, all that frustration... It was purposeful and I just didn't get it. It actually created a bond between the game player and the characters. Especially BB....Oooh lil Lou!!! My whole heart! I fell in love with that lil BB and when Deadman "fixed" him and gave him back to Sam, and Lou didn't even react to Sam like he (she) once did, I felt that sh*t. Hard. That disconnect hurt...then eventually you get that bond back and you just feel good again. As the story progressed I was on the edge of my seat...Cliff..omfg, that story alone just killed me. I adored his character and felt soooo bad for him. Then we eventually get to Sam being his son. I loooost it! Crying like a baby...but damn, just when I thought my heart couldn't break anymore they pull out the whole "BBs dead"... I can not stress enough how much, in that moment I absolutely hated the game yet again. You get me sucked in, attached to this BB, literally emotionally lolz, than you tell me it's dead and Sam's like " ready for one last delivery Lou" which was to go cremate Lou...I felt sick. Tormented. How could you ask that of me, or make me do that after everything!? But my god...just wow.....truly this is, in my opinion, the most beautiful storyline to any game ever. How unexpectedly deep it is. I love all of the Metal Gear games, but this, imo, has surpassed any of those games.

Also PT is linked to Death Stranding and Metal Gear. Soooo many tie ins.

the story telling quality dropped quite a bit I say, especially that Amelie monologue which is so unbearable that Sam tried to commit suicide to escape.

2 hours of cutscenes..hell I'm still on chapter 15: the inauguration. I'm going back to kill all Mules and create a gigantic voidout that will end the game for real.

I thought that there were several endings when I first read the title of the video. 😂

I just finished this game and the story line is superb but the game play is horrendous. Glad I waited and only spent $10 on this game.

TBH, I didn't care about Lou at all during this game, not even after the end. The rest of the story was great, though.

Cliff being Sams father really should have been more obvious to me, after all its been decades, he couldnt be the father of a newborn.
What a weird game, but gotta say it is an experience.

When I defeated Higgs in BT form, I thought the game was done. I thought it’d be like other games like everything ends after a huge boss fight.

But nope. Death Stranding drove me nuts with EVEN MORE things happening, way more than what I expected to be enough for the game. All the additional events were good by themselves, but I didn’t like how my anticipation of the game’s end gets disrupted constantly like that.

By reading comments and talking with friends about it, it seems like everyone planned to beat this game before bed and ended up going to sleep at 4 AM

I love how Cliff's wife name is Lisa. Same with the scary woman in Kojima's canceled game Silent Hills.

There is just one ending at the end of the day. You just can't kill Amelia even if you shoot her to the head

so glad i never watched evangelion because the comments summing it up as it are so cringe. glad i could enjoy it without thinking "hee hee annie may resemblance!"

The moment i realised all the narrative from cliff towards "BB" was not from a calm situation but his dying breath.
Also always as Cliff's ghost wasn't crying out for BB but for Sam. and there was a giveaway when deadman was cutoff explaining Cliffs age discrepancy.
