“Big ol squishy sack of meat flesh” is my favorite video quote in a long time and I’m still laughing at myself
ОтветитьFavourite muscle..... sternocledomastoid❤❤
ОтветитьThis is the best way I have seen this explained, I struggle a lot with remembering the actions of each muscle. I had no idea that the orgin was the non moving bone and that was the first part of the muscle name, this will help so much with future classes, thank you!
Ответить1st Module Massage Therapy Student here for the Summer 2023 graduating class! Thank you for making this video! The nerd in me is overjoyed! ❤
ОтветитьOMG. YES, I DO WANT TO HANG OUT WITH YOU. My exam is tomorrow, I hope I met you in time to make it. :) Wish you would have been my teacher (or my husband, or both. ^_^ ). Thanks, I´ll watch all your videos from now and soon I´ll be a physiotherapist. ^_^
Ответитьloud background noise prevents my ADD from hearing lesson.
ОтветитьIn nursing school rn and this video was a god send
Ответитьi really liked the intro and the music 🔥🔥
ОтветитьThe music takes away a bit due to my disorder but video helped a lot thanks
ОтветитьPlease slow down, breathe, and leave space between sentences so we can absorb what you are saying. Great content, but too exhausting to watch.
ОтветитьDon’t use loud music ,it becomes difficult to conc on your words
Ответитьsomething intelligent
ОтветитьThese videos are clear to understand and super helpful!
ОтветитьThis made it easier to understand origin vs insertion, I never understood this topic so this level so it's promising that I feel confident on explaining it by myself
Ответитьis there any way to turn off the obnoxiously loud background music to hear what hes actually saying in the background or should i just turn off volume all together and just read the subtitles??
ОтветитьI like the thought of muscle actions when finding a muscles origin and insertions. It makes a lot of sense !!
ОтветитьMy favorite anatomical function is petting puppies
ОтветитьSCM is the prettiest muscle in the body
ОтветитьThe breakdown of these terms was so clarifying thank you so much!
ОтветитьTo be honest I never fully understood the difference between origins and insertions. This video was helpful on the little things that are important to know within the field. Thank you!
ОтветитьThis video was a great review on the importance of a muscle's origin and insertion. This is one of the tougher things for me to memorize.
ОтветитьHelpful overview, especially the origin and insertions
Ответитьfirst time learning this, the origins and insertions made a lot more sense to me!
ОтветитьIt was helpful to know that the origins and insertions do not necessarily have to be specific points. As with pec major, the origin of the muscle is almost fan-shaped and extends beyond a single point.
ОтветитьIt was really helpful when you said that when the muscle contracts, the insertion moves toward the origin. This will help me find the origin and insertion points for each muscle by performing the action of the muscle!
ОтветитьOrigin and Insertions of muscles have always been really tough for me to memorize, but it's a lot more helpful to think of their actions.
ОтветитьIt is so helpful to think about the action of the muscle to help me remember its origin and insertion point. The origin typically stays while the insertion is what moves when the muscle contracts! Thank you!
Ответитьthanks corporis
is it possible that insertion and origin of the muscle change during different movement
like squat vs leg curl, for quadriceps ???
can you pls explain more on unilateral and bilateral movements on the scm? thanks
Ответитьthis helps big time, thank you so much for the video!!!!
Ответитьhow do i turn the music off?
ОтветитьThe music in the background is very distracting and I couldn't focus. Not a good class to me.
ОтветитьAny chance you can give some details on the anatomy posters behind you in your intro here?
ОтветитьThe music is so distracting to me 🤣
Ответитьi like the quads! 😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺
ОтветитьI was actually surprised at how many of these terms started coming back to my mind when watching this video and getting to go over some of the ones I had forgotten. Thanks for the great video!
ОтветитьI have always palpated the muscles on my body to remember where they are, but for some reason, I have never thought about doing the motions on my own body to remember their actions.
ОтветитьThis video is a little bit tricky for me to understand. But it is very important the difference origin and insertion action movement . I have spent three time to replay and get better understand. Instant of memorization and thank you the performing of the action.
ОтветитьThis video was very informative. I was LOST when he read that sentence on the actions of the SCM! Good thing it doesn't have to be that complicated.
Ответитьlove the posters!
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьWhat exactly does it mean for muscular tissue to be one muscle with multiple heads instead of multiple muscles? Is it that the heads of a muscle all insert into a single tendon?
What determins how many heads a muscle has? Why do some muscles have more heads than others?
Is it down to how much force the muscle in question is generally expected to produce?
Or do different muscle heads pull the same tendon in different directions allowing for more fine-tuned/articulate movement?
I'm studying to become a personal trainer and you have no idea how much your videos are helping me with human anatomy. Thank you!
ОтветитьI absolutely love all your videos and show them to my high school classes! Thank you!
ОтветитьThis was the best quick and precise review of Origin, Insertion, Action, Innervation...Thank you immensely! You rock!💗💯
ОтветитьI’m doing massage therapy and all of these books over complicate explanations. Thanks for simplifying it!
Ответитьbro you look like the main dude from arrow
ОтветитьThe explanation is great, but... the music is too much! I had to put the CC and cut out the sound. I couldn't concentrate. You are interesting without the music, you don't need it to keep our attention ;)
ОтветитьThink in actions. Origin moves less; insertion moves more, action is based on origin and insertion, innervation is based on muscles involved.
ОтветитьI really enjoyed your use of descriptive images which really helped me to picture the concepts that you were discussing!
