I want this set. I also got the Leyla Tour bus. Since I already have Paisley twice over (one designed by Lego and the other designed by me), I'm going to save Paisley's head for a Leyla related project and her shirt for a mini doll of the third sister of a pair of sisters who has shown me love and kindness. I already have Lego counterparts of the two sisters I know well. If someone has a lego counterpart in my collection, it means they are or were once important to me

her name is GALinda at first but later in the plot she changes it to Glinda

It's a shame that in minidolls the neck and hands are attached to the character's torso...
The Elphaba bust would be nice to use with other themes like Friends but the green hands and neck lock you on that character

How are they going to give us wicked LEGO sets but no descendants Lego sets?

As I recall in the Broadway presentation of "Wicked", Nessarose (Elphaba's sister) wore silver high-heeled shoes to university and that told me that she was the wicked witch of the east, while Elphaba was the wicked witch of the west. Only Elphaba had two eyes like all people do. I mean, in the original novel of "The Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum, the wicked witch of the west had only one eye that worked like a telescope, which meant that she didn't need a crystal ball to watch over the land of the west nor anywhere else in the land of Oz like she did in the MGM movie. Yes, the people in the land of the east were called the Munchkins, but the people in the land of the west were called the Winkies.

I'm probably going to buy this just for the minidolls (I'm not a theatre kid so idk much about Wicked apart from that it's a Wizard of Oz prequel and that Idina Menzel was in the Broadway version) if I do buy this that is

But LOOK at them! 💚💖 They are so beautiful! I GASPED when I saw the little hole in the side of Elphie's hairpiece, that's how invested our age group is in this! That detail in the minidolls! I want to cry, this is actually happening and Wicked is back in our lives and if this isn't some global inner child healing event I don't know what it is. So incredible it endured (but of course it did). Going to see the musical again in just 10 days (!!!), with a friend whose never seen it before (it's at qpac rn) - and then we get the film so soon! And yes half of me is all "they had better do it properly" and the other half is "art is transformative it will be a love letter to the musical just enjoy it and the PG rating means Marty can enjoy it toooo!"

Far OUT I cannot stop gabbing, ok ok focus, the Lego set. So Shiz is just a musical set piece like this 😂 is the green bottle possibly a reference to THAT green bottle? Oh oh I just remembered, it's Galinda but Dr Dillamond can't pronounce it and calls her Glinda (which she makes horrible fun of), and when he..devolves she adopts Glinda in honour of him - I think! So future set wise - assuming the QR leads to a related song, we might get the Witch's castle and the little monkey dudes in the second wave? Or their family home in Munchkinland for that uh, scene with Nessa/Boq/Elphaba. And we HAVE to see Glinda in a bubble!
I wonder if they integrate a way to turn..the two characters into their Oz characters, or if we'll see a minidoll Dorothy? We only see her shadow in the musical so she'll probably just be a sticker. But anyway it's all SO exciting I love it 😍

Glinda had both names in the play. Originally she was Galinda and she later changed it to Glinda.

I really do hope we get more sets. I’d love to see Elphaba with her glasses and Nessarose with the silver slippers. I would really love if Lego did a set based off the Train they take to get to the Emerald City.

In the musical it is Glinda with the big G sound at the beginning

Hey Ellie! Wicked is my fave 21st century musical tied with Next To Normal (which could inspire some very odd Lego sets 😂). I definitely want all the cast minifigs, but the og Broadway sets were not too elaborate, sooo...moc potential? Looking forward to the other sets!💕 Bonus: YT search "NBC Today Wicked" for Kristin and Idina performing Popular outside in the rain on the streets of NYC with people walking by not realizing what this musical was about to become. Popular!

I love the minidolls, especially Glinda's hair! Simply lovely. The set itself - well. It's pretty, but I really hope it will get more parts like Hogwarts sets, that would be great. I feel like the hooks on the side indicate that there's hope 😇 ~Wavey ;)

I’m watching late as this and the Wednesday dorm set are late holiday gifts I’m receiving. Yay! So I had to check them out with your channel, naturally! I thought it would be more fun to use this newer dorm room (Wednesdays) for the Wicked cast.
