Strippers on the Floor - Knock-off IRWIN VISE-GRIP Self-Adjusting Wire Stripper

Criteria for picking the wire striper:

1. Clean cut on wire insulation
2. Wire strands cannot be cut off
3. Cut place cannot be damaged, under microscope observation.
4. The ''vise grip'' one are ok, all others are risky, especially the small black one like small scissors.
5. For larger wire diameter, none of the tools in the video meets the standard, not qualified.
6. The small black very cheap one “only buy one in the entire world” are totally unacceptable, and strictly forbidden.

Before stripping the wire, first need to understand the capability of the wire stripping tools u've got, information like this is needed:

Interesting primer on strippers though. lol

Nice review. Over my x40 yrs in electronics I often had to strip everything from small stranded up to video coax and having quality tools makes a big difference. Stripping a lot of coax and then putting on compression fittings can be painful, LOL!
