Monsgeek M1W - Review Mods & Sound Test

The Audio may sound different and a little too "plosive" because I just changed my mic and I'm still tuning it 🙏🏻

Gonna throw my hat in the ring as a m1w owner
For the price, especially for a aluminum keyboard 75%, it's super good
I understand that popping off the key to switch the mode on top of the Fn combination could be annoying, in addition to the lack of dongle storage but seeing how the zoom 75 and qk75- regarded as 2 of the best 75% keyboard also has the same problem, i'd say it's excusable. Would it have been better had they included space to store the dongle like the Cidoo V75 ? Yes, but you'd have to take into account that these builds are often aimed to have a sleek minimalistic look so that probably would have compromised things. Compared to the Zoom 75, this thing doesn't have the screen but honestly speaking, I don't see much use for that anyway.
The stock version i bought has pre foamed and akko v3 cream yellow so it's super good for the price so honestly, I'm happy with it.

which one do you prefer more? Cidoo V75 PRO or Monsgeek M1W

How do you check the battery level for this?

Is the wireless version compatible with VIA/QMK?

How does the sound and feel different between this and the womier sk-71? I am on the fence and don't know if it's worth it to spend an extra $60 on the M1W unless it's extra creamy sounding or has a better feel.

Is the M1W worth the extra money or should I save the money and get the RK H81?

You just need to set it in wireless mode once then use Function key combination to switch between wired or wireleas connection. If you want someplace to store the dongle and switches, mind you how awful the xiemeng M71 look with them

How do you like this OEM setup compared to cherry profile like PBTfans? I saw those keycaps on amazon and I am 50/50 on getting them because they look so good for the price but i don't know how they would feel. Should I go for PBTfans cherry or this gradient OEM?

If the wireless version had the free keycaps/ 2 set 45 swich i maybe buy that
