I'm a Spinks fan, but Tyson was at the front end of his amazing run here. He could have destroyed anyone from late 86 until the Buster Douglass fight, where Mike beat himself.
ОтветитьSpinks was huge.
ОтветитьSpinks was like a rabbit in the headlights, wasn't interested, couldn't wait to hit the canvas, pathetic and scared to death
ОтветитьSpinks was terrified
ОтветитьI remember this so well. I had a crew of friends over. Just got done with the popcorn and brought it into the living room and all of a sudden , Tyson knocked him out. Fight over. Was over before I could even put button on the popcorn.
ОтветитьFixed fight.
ОтветитьI'll always be convinced Spinks took a fall. He got paid and paid well for the fight. I think he felt Tyson out and was like ...Nope!
ОтветитьThe fact that people find this entertaining is shameful. Grown men beating themselves up to the point of permanent injury and sometimes premature death just to entertain us and make other people rich? Really? Not to mention that boxing is completely corrupted by organized crime syndicates and gamblers.
ОтветитьReferee: watch it Mike, knock it off!
Mike: you mean his head?
I still believe to this day Spinks knew there was absolutely no way he was going to win. I also believe he was deathly afraid of Tyson. Who could blame him?!
ОтветитьEveryone paid for a quickie!😂
ОтветитьMike Tyson's Punchout
ОтветитьI was knocked out by this video
ОтветитьI met Leon Spinks in Las Vegas, but that was before Tyson even came on the scene.
ОтветитьI remember being at Target and somebody announced this over the loudspeaker. First time I’ve seen it though.
ОтветитьMy friend's dad said he went out to watch it with his buddies- turned around after ordering a beer and fight was over- lol
ОтветитьIn 1980 whatever that would have cost you $100 to see..
ОтветитьMY UNCLE GOT THIS FIGHT IN GUATEMALA. HE WAS SOO MAD BECAUSE IT ENDED SO QUICK😅. RIP TIO
ОтветитьJacob and Esau before Isaac nay only jacob with goat skins
ОтветитьTRUMP!!
ОтветитьSpinks was soft.
ОтветитьSpinks was beat before Tyson ever got in the ring.
ОтветитьSpinks kind of reminds me of the Ukrainian "counteroffensive".
ОтветитьSpinks moves so weird he fights like a 13-year-old girl 🤣
ОтветитьLook at the guy in the white suit by the ring he missed the ko lol
ОтветитьHis first visit w the canvas and mike sends him right back for a 2nd opinion to take the win xD Seemed like an appropriate way of Tyson telling spinks his time is up.
ОтветитьWhat an embarrassment.
ОтветитьTyson would have beat Ali in 3 rounds in both of their primes.
ОтветитьI was 13 at the time and wasn't familiar with Tyson. I remember I was on summer vacation in St. Louis. My stepmother went over to her friend's house to watch the pay per view fight. I watched the whole thing. I know it was a loooong time ago but I remember watching Spinks dripping with sweat and Tyson wasn't sweating at all. Spinks was talking junk all the way up till the match. He looked more scared as he approached that ring...and then it was over. There were so many people who were mad about how short that fight was because a lot of people missed it. Then Tyson did it again in the early 2000's after being away from boxing for a few years. I can't remember who he beat in less than a minute but again, there were a whole lot of angry people who paid all of that pay per view money and missed it thinking it was going to be a long fight.
Ответитьmomma said!
ОтветитьSpinks always sucked.....
ОтветитьComo el combate del año, nos lo vendieron 🙃🙃
ОтветитьWhat a joke. Spinks was too slow and not a true heavy weight. Tyson was always going to eat him alive.
ОтветитьJoe Frazier would have beat Mike Tyson just like this
ОтветитьThis right here is the encapsulation of why psychology in boxing is important. Spinks was done before he even got into the building.
ОтветитьWhen Spinks fell to his knee Tyson was ready to unleash another but stopped. If it was modern day MMA they'd have punched his head in and people say its ok and part of the sport. Nothing sporting about it.
ОтветитьSpinks graveled on the canvas. Wasted ppv buyer and ticket buyer money.
ОтветитьCredit it to Spinks, he tried to get up for more
ОтветитьSpinks was scared before this then he got dropped jumped straight up and was like yh am good let's go then just got a left right goodnight
ОтветитьOn those years Tyson used to finish his fights in the first round.
ОтветитьThat first knockdown by Tyson he waited patiently for Spinks to drop his right hand then gave him a left uppercut to upstairs then went back downstairs to the body.😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThat was the most ridiculous defence of a world title I've ever seen, Spinks knew the outcome before entering the ring!
ОтветитьHe should have listened to Doc, and joined the Nintendo Fun Club to learn how to actually beat peak Tyson.
ОтветитьHe took a dive
ОтветитьInteresting to me that the commentators seem to be ignoring how badly Spinks is getting pushed around right from the bell and then with every exchange. They seem rather detached from the action. I guess commentators today are much faster to hype up each exchange.
ОтветитьI remember watching this live and thinking “let’s see how Tyson does against a fighter like Spinx”.
I was a true believer quickly.
I GUES SU57 JS YET TO COME THIS IS JUST ILLUSION TO THINK YOU WON
ОтветитьAs fierce as Tyson was in the ring he would ALWAYS go over to the corner of the guys he knocked out to check on them and make sure they were OK! Always showed great compassion for his opponents.
ОтветитьIf you literally did not pay per view mikes fights you most likely missed them ! LOL
Ответить
