You mentioned only one other indoor antenna that worked as good as this one but didnt give the name or your video. Could you please provide the name or video?

Based on following you for several months now, and your positive review of this antenna I purchased it. It works well feeding 4 TVs in my house. What is surprising is that the reception is best facing West/Northwest and all the TV transmission towers are all South/Southwest of my house. There is loss of some weaker stations at the end of the cable run. The antenna is just laying on a 2nd story windowsill, and is out of sight from the ground level.

Oh man I want to see some "I can pick up stations 100 miles away easy because the Earth is flat" comments.

A year ago I bought this antenna and was satisfied with its performance UNTIL today in August 2022.
Strange thing happened today with my TV tied to this indoor antenna: Channel 8, at 177 Mhz frequency, saw a tremendous drop with reception strength, as TV signal was breaking up . . . and if you are thinking the TV station's transmitter was running at reduced power, it was not. Testing the signal strength with a QFX DVR, signal strength was below 50 percent; which is very odd as it always registered at 75 percent or higher. Going through the other channels, signal strengths actually improved by 10 ~ 15 percent.
I tested Channel 8's signal strengths with my other TVs with indoor antennas, all showed signal strengths from 75 to 85 percent. So, that put to rest with the thought of the TV transmitter running at reduced power.
Having recently taken delivery of a duplicate Antop antenna, I used it to replace the one with the Channel 8 reception issues. Viola! The new Antop antenna brought the Channel signal strength up to 75 percent. BUT, the signal strengths of the other TV stations dropped by 10 ~ 15 percent. Go figure!

For anyone out there figuring an outdoor antenna would resolve all reception issues? I live in a dense housing development that has experienced high winds and lightning this Spring and Summer. A couple of houses, a few streets away from me, that have outdoor antennas all show them being bent and twisted from the stormy weather we've experienced.
One house in particular had an antenna blow off the house and crashed into the window of a neighboring house . . . as I wrote earlier, this is a dense housing development. Sure, insurance covered the damages after the deductibles were met, but the aspect of such a hazard may exist with an outdoor antenna, where I live, is unnerving.

Is this an omnidirectional or multi-directional antenna? If not what is the best Omni-directional antenna on the market?

Thinking about getting that antenna. If it has a signal booster up at the antenna do I have to run a power supply all the way up the pole if I roof mount the antenna? Thanks.

Funny that some people won't put an antenna up due to the wife's complaints. I'd put it up and tell her not to look up! Instead, have her look at the smaller cable bill (assuming you keep internet).

I took delivery on this antenna earlier today, set it up, did a TV re-scan, and was satisfied with the results of reception for an indoor antenna. AND I sought out a different vendor than Amazon to obtain it.
Online searches can seek out all sorts of competing vendors for items, where an individual doesn't have to be LOCKED IN with Amazon. In addition, the era of Amazon equating to lowest prices doesn't ring true anymore.

I purchased this antenna based on this review and others. I installed the antenna about 7 feet high in the back of my home with only one wall between it and the outside. The antenna faces nearly due south at 182° and an elevation of 140m AMSL. All of the broadcast antennas are located between 175° and 217° and at a distance not exceeding 13 miles. Most of the antennas are at significant elevation, i.e. a tower at 206° and 11 miles hosts three of the antennas at 716m (RF 30), 690m (RF 14), and 677m (RF 36). My TV scans and finds all of those signals, but when tuning to the station at RF 14, I get the message "Program Not Available." The same happens with an antenna at 9.8 miles, 217°, and 581m, broadcasting on RF 12. All other stations come in great.

The common denominator for the "Program not Available" message is low broadcast frequency, RF12 and 14. At this point, I must note that the cable connecting the antenna to the TV is longer than that sent with the antenna since I am using cable installed at construction to route the signal to the TV. After reporting this information to Antop, they sent me a new amplifier, but nothing changed. At this point, I don't know if I have an antenna problem or a cabling/amplifier problem.

I'm pleased that I get good reception on higher bands, but frustrated that the NBC and Fox stations don't have a picture.

I just installed a version of this antenna in my attic (AT-420B). I ran the cable to an amplified splitter then to 4 rooms via cable inside the walls. I live halfway between Tampa and Orlando. With this setup, I get about 55 stations from both areas but it is pointing towards Orlando. It is mounted vertical however. Does it make a difference which way it is facing? And can I add another antenna and combine them into one? Thank you for your videos! They really help in getting rid of ridiculously high cable rates!

My experience with this antenna was not very good. It did not receive as well as an old standard "rabbit ears" with UHF loop. It was mounted at the room ceiling level in the bedroom. I opened the antenna part and it had two elements which were just a foil that was an open loop on each side. It did not appear to be big enough to pick up VHF channels, two of which I am trying to get reliably. I returned the antenna to the vendor.

My set in the living room is connected to an FM radio antenna that is mounted in the attic. It receives VHF stations to the south that are 26 miles away, but is intermittent. It receives best when there is a cloud cover and humid conditions. This is in South Florida which is very flat and there is a ridge about 40 feet above sea level 4 miles to the south. My place is at about 18 feet above sea level. I plan on getting an "outdoor" antenna made for VHF/UHF TV and installing it in the attic in place of the FM antenna, but I will wait until "winter" to install because of the heat in the attic.
