Prince of Persia Warrior Within is one of the scariest games I've ever had the luxury of playing. Ironically, it's also my favourite entry in the series

That Fuc*ng barrel right in the way of the gap jump was the WORST

I was very scared in this race. It was like crying.😅

the visuals made me get into design. so surreal and ethereal. larger than life spaces. the environments were so amazingly designed I felt like I was there. felt like a beautiful dream.

I've never played any Prince of Persia game but this game and Jak II have a really dark and menacing atmosphere, not only that but also amazing OSTs, all these games on the PS4 and PS5 try to be Hollywood movie wannabes focusing too much on heavily-scripted dialogue even in gameplay and keeping the gameplay mechanics simple but there's no substance on either side it's just pretending to be deep and the character development feels fake, they just don't feel badass enough compared to these games

The moment when u realise one wrong move and u are dead....and the thing is even if u are good, the anxiety that comes with dahaka makes u clumsy...real intense

I'm really pleased that WW has aged as fine as it possibly could've considering every typical gaming knobhead used to frown upon it back when it came.

U have to play it to feel the fear this shit had my heart pounding outta my chest

Big demonic black humanoid guy with bull horns. One look at this guy and you can figure out that he was inspired by nergal (the sumerian god of death) and ifrit as they're both from middle eastern pantheons. Dahaka with his dominating presence also became the blue print of nergigante, a monster from the MH verse who seems to be inspired by all of the three combined in both looks and name. One thing we all can agree on, is that people like these are the embodiment not just dominance and masculinity but death, fear, destruction, tyranny and brutality themselves
