I`m picking up my own in an hour or so... have been waiting for a long time.
ОтветитьBTW has softwere issue's of AMD stuff has improved, to be reliable and fuss free as Intel ? I'm building new pc soon (after march), and have trouble decideing Intel or AMD route.
Plan to use it for gaming, and casual 3D modeling, at least for next 5 year's on 24.5" 1920x1080 280 Hz IPS Monitor.
What is your thought on Asus TUF GAMING VG259QM 24.5" 1920x1080 280 Hz IPS Monitor for my need's ?
What SSD gen-4 is more reliable ; Sabrent Rocket 4.0 or Gigabyte AORUS NVMe Gen4 ?
Thank you :)
that background keeps me checking for dead pixels on my monitor.
ОтветитьGot the 10700KF for almost the same price on black friday sooo yeah, the equivalent intel z490 board was also cheaper by nearly 100, 3200 mhz ram was also cheaper, everything added up for a 3080
ОтветитьJust have to say, that Picard bust is awesome. I want one.
ОтветитьI'm assuming as a 3600 owner that I'm wasting my time buying this? Just wanted to check as they are back in stock where I live (as are the 5800x CPU's). Thanks.
Ответитьi7 5930 K
ОтветитьI still think the Pricing is way Off.. That should be if AMD Really Needs a That extra money that much, at $269.99 MSRP Or $274.95 MSRP at the most and We always Got a $300ish 8 core too That 5800X shouldn't be more than $375 at MSRP.. AMD are only getting away with this because stock is low and people want to build PC's.. The prices for the 3700X 3800XT and so went back up to there MSRP's, There are no deal's right now..
This has been a problem for a while now, WE Can't Buy anything that is so Called released!! First with Intel, then Nvidia, Now AMD. They have Paper/Or BETA Launches, and it takes people till the announcement of the next Gen of CPU's and GPU's to be on the verge of being out for people to be able to OBTAIN then buy this Gen at the MSRP... This is a real problem because I Have the 6800XT money Ready to go and can't get one.. I'm techy to a point.. I don't run BOTS or Care to know how too.. It suck's these guy's Fake launch a Product to 1 up each other and the normal guy suffers for it.. I'm still rocking an RX480 Because I passed on the Vega Thing/R7 Card's N the 2080 super Guy rip off's.. I waited and waited because I knew Big Navi would be all that and Nvidia would be too and forced to check their pricing too..
cant wait for next AM5 platform
Ответить>"Nobody really should be playing these games at these kinds of framerates."
Wrong. Those are the kinds of framerates everyone should be playing at.
Love my 5600x, managed to snag it at launch, looking forward to upgrading my aging gtx 1070 to a 6800xt when they're available
Ответить120-150USD Ryzen 3 5100 is going to be amazing, and you'll never be able to buy one.
Ответитьisn't the 10600k a i5?
ОтветитьThe 5600x is a good cpu but not that impressive to an 8700k owner. The 8700k is only 10% behind while being out for three years now🤷🏻♂️.
ОтветитьIntel i9-10600k :D Impressive that the 5600x is faster than the overclocked i5-10600k out of the box
Ответить5600x is great, tho most are talking about core count later on... but for the moment loven it and was using 3570k prior, was hanging in great but was showing the age in some modern games.
ОтветитьBeen out of stock ever since I can remember.
Ответить"6-cores the new 8-cores" ? No. The silicon is just faster. You wouldn't want 2 fewer cores for Proxmox or Kubernetes, or even traditional VM would you?
ОтветитьSometimes an old quad core (5775C) can be the new 8 core too, in video games of course.
ОтветитьPlease explain to me how the hell a 10600k is beating the crap out of a 8700k when they're both running at the same frequencies and they both have the same number of cores and the same IPC.
ОтветитьThere is no way you are getting 40 fps difference between the 8700k vs the 10600k... Those are basically the same cpu proven by your cinebench results afterwards .....
ОтветитьWendall, why are Ryzen 4700GE and 4600GE processors impossible to buy retail?? They are exactly what I want for a low power mini server yet AMD wont sell these to the general public!!! Pisses me off!
ОтветитьDo you think AMD will make a 5000 series 3300x?
ОтветитьTaken from apple math ,8gb = 32gb
Ответить6 cores is an I3 in 2021
ОтветитьWhy there is a difference between 8700K and 10600K?
They are both 6-core Skylake at 5GHz.
So what you're saying is that the eventual 5600 (non-X) will be the undisputed value champion.
ОтветитьSo, Micro Center showed (1) 5600X in stock at the store near my house. It would be the retail price and maybe I will get lucky. Its less than 40F outside, wet, and not very pleasant this Monday. I pull up into the parking lot at a little before 9:30am and there is a line of 20+ people waiting outside, and probably just as many in their cars. I left. Would have been nice but it seems inventory across the nation is very limited.
Update: Went back today and no line. Picked up the 5600X and passed on the 6800XT. Asus wanted $968usd for a 6800XT.
Its should really cost the same as the 3600 lol.
ОтветитьI really wanted to build a Ryzen system ever since they got announced. I was an AMD user for years and only "sidegraded" my Phenom II x4 to a i7-3770 because more and more games needed SSE4.1 instructions and just wouldn't start on the phenom. So I waited out the first gen products like i usually do, but this year, with me nothing much else to do than getting into VR gaming :D So, I knew the 5000 series was where I would enter the game. I accepted the price bump of the 6c/12t 5600x because the performance was right, even though the main attraction with AMD was always the good deals. And I waited patiently to get one but it just isn't available in Europe... At the same time the 6c/12t 10600kf was getting price cuts and was at one point almost 100$ (!) cheaper than the 5600x right before christmas. Just didn't make sense to wait for a more expensive product even though it is overall a better CPU. Totally happy with my 10600kf though, overclocked to 5ghz with ease, stays under 1.3V and tops out at 70° while gaming.
ОтветитьI get 4.85 GHz at 1.375v max with curve optimizer at -30. The 5600X is as good at gaming as the top AMD cpu's because threads don't matter. I use the fractal Celsius 240mm cooler.
ОтветитьMy bios is a bit weird about tweaking my pbo. i have pbo set to auto and 200mhz+ boost in extreme tweaker but there are also pbo settings under Advanced>AMD Overclocking where I have enabled curve optimizer. It's a bit confusing does anyone know if thats the right way to do it? My cpu seems to be drawing 85W under full load and and boosts to 4.8GHz under light loads.
ОтветитьI've been looking to upgrade my 2700x and after watching this I felt the 5600x would be a great option. At $299.00 MSRP it seemed like it was a no brainer which is great for me as I am brainless because I completely forgot MSRP is a myth. How about $580.00 for the CPU now....no thanks.
Ответить$387.99 right now.
Ответитьupgraded from an i5 4690k to this processor, the difference is night and day!
ОтветитьIf you could get the 5600x for $299. $399 is the best I can find right now.
Ответить5600x has a problem: the price. and some another problems: the prices for 9900k, 10700k and even 10850k..
Ответитьgreat ... can we get more info about tarkov? how to improve the game? ...not many info about this very popular game is out there
ОтветитьSomething's up with your 8700k. My 5ghz 8700k (4.7ghz cache) with 32gb 3200 CL16 does about 523 single core and 4000+ multicore in CB R20. Also, I ran the BL3 benchmark at 1440p Ultra - yielded 111fps with 8.99ms frametime. With a 3080.
ОтветитьThere is a typo in the slides, right? i5 instead of i9
Ответить"nobody's running an 8700k from 2 years ago with 3600C16 RAM", in fact I've been running it at 4000C16 5G all-core for 3 years. Better R20 single and multi than your 10600k results
Ответитьso if 5600x vs 3700x for video editing/gaming/streaming, which would be the better pick?
Ответитьsorry.. but you retail prices are WAY off... now way can you get a 5600 for $300 nor can you find a 3600 for $200....
Ответитьim using 6 core now i mistake buying 8700k instead of 9900k maybe 2-3 yrs now 8 core is the sweet spot
Ответить4 months late but upgraded from 2700 ✊✊
ОтветитьGone are the days when Intel made us pay $100 extra for the privilege of hyperthreading and 2MB extra cache. Heck even PCI-E lanes were heavily monetized and reserved in sufficient quantities only for HEDT. I'm glad that Intel's HEDT money pig has been almost completely wiped off the market by Ryzen 9 as well. Good times!
