huge book haul!!30+ used books from my library sale

Guess what? I went to a library book sale last month and got 4 books for $11. One of the books sounded familiar from one of your videos. I got The Firekeepers Daughter. I saw the book and gasped. It’s in great condition hard back for $4. The woman that was checking me out said that I found a good find! So thank you I wouldn’t have picked it up if I hadn’t heard it from you. I still haven’t read it. I’m currently reading The Burning God by RF Kuang (sooo good!) and piranesi. So I’ll read The Firekeepers Daughter afterwards. Also I have the Beartown series on hold at my library! And I found The Winners at a little free library. Sry this is long! You’ve influenced me!

I loved seeing all of the books you picked out, and also was happy to hear how much you liked And Every Morning [insert rest of long title lol] because that book made me cry like nothing else when I read it!! At page 70 (if I remember the number correctly), I had to pause, get tissues, then try multiple times to become coherent and go back to reading 😅 Anyways, I hope you enjoy all of your new reads, and as a fellow physical-copy-list keeper lol, I hope you find more that you're looking for!! Omg every time I go to the bookstore I look at The Pisces by Melissa Broder but I don’t want to pay full price! It seems so insane and horny I have to read it! I’m always so impressed with your finds!!!! Also I so feel you on my physical tbr stressing me out but I’m trying to be nicer to myself about it bc beating myself up about it is just making me not want to read them more lol

This is such a lovely idea to fill little free libraries with! I feel like I'm the only one who goes around and replenishes the free libraries around me LOL. It would be so much more fun if more of the community would get involved like this for sure.

I’m grateful my local library sells books too. They had paperbacks for 50 cents and hardcovers for $1.00! I bought at least 10 books. 😅

In the Time of the Butterflies is my favorite book EVER!! The Mirabal sisters went against the regime of the dictator Rafael Trujillo. White Oleander is my third favorite ever! Your library sale videos are amazing, but this one had a lot of gems!

My county used to have an annual book sale and I’d go with my dad as a kid but then COVID happened and they cut it from the budget 😭 I work at a library and I get new books EVERY shift, it’s the most fun!
