thanks!
ОтветитьHi everyone. I’m finding some patterns expensive. Is it crazy if I trace pieces on another paper , with tracing wheel, of the size I want for my project? I would like keep my options open- just in case I need another size of clothing. Does anyone do it? Any tips?
ОтветитьNo sound at all. But very interested.
ОтветитьI appreciate this... thanks
ОтветитьThanks sew much! Newly subscribed to your channel =^•-•^=
ОтветитьOMG, you're 5'10". I'm so relieved to hear as I'm 5'11" and one reason I want to learn to sew is every cute dress becomes a mini on me.
ОтветитьAm starting to sew coronavirus cloth masks with my mom. They're calling back all retired nurses but if she caught the virus she would die. She's devastated and feels totally helpless. She has this code built into her and all she wants to do is help but she cant because of her MS. I feel helpless too, all I want to do is help but they clearly don't want a 13 year old on the front lines so I'm tryig to help in any way i can.
ОтветитьIt has been bothering for forever, the name of the designer of your wallpaper; Please rescue me and tell me!!! Thanks so much!
ОтветитьThanks so much ❤️
ОтветитьI love the patterns and additional info on each one. I need to get myself a dress maker stand too so i can fit my garments better.
ОтветитьI love the shirt that you made that you are wearing. For silky, very thin fabric, do you have any tips for me (I am a beginner sewer) as far as how to sew very silky fabric. I have tried to sew very thin flimsy fabrics and have a problem with my fabric getting stick under my needle in my bobbin. Thank you for your videos.

ОтветитьStitchybee you are one fantastic sewer i love your choice of fabric and patterns thank you for sharing x
ОтветитьI do love your comment about PDF patterns. I do the same! I feel it really draws out the experience to have a cuppa and film on in the background whilst I lazily stick pattern pieces together!
ОтветитьGreat video, Cheryl!
ОтветитьVery nice makes! Love the fabrics! Also interested in your dress form. What type is it?
Ответитьwhat great pattern choices. I especially like your ultimate shift dress it's so pretty.
ОтветитьLoved your vlog, very interesting about the first pattern, (the top) I looked at it, but decided not to buy it, but now I have seen it made up I will buy and make, thank you, love the colour. x
ОтветитьEnjoyed you vlog and the patterns are so useful and classic. I have some jersey fabric and will be having a go at the McCalls pattern so thank you for the tips and shall be looking forward to your future plans as I have subbed and will I think be looking at your past vlogs too 😊
ОтветитьI definitely need to sew up that jersey dress. I have had this pattern in my stash for about 2 years!!!! xx
ОтветитьYep that McCall 6886 seems to be a staple in many sewists collections. I just purchased it last month. I'm definitely going to get a Sew Over It pattern and it seems this one is a popular one as well. I will be downloading that Sorbetto one today. Never tackled a PDF before . Great picks, thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThanks for this vlog. I just started sewing a few weeks ago and am dying to make a spring/summer shift dress 👗. I've been practicing my sewing with aprons, hot pads, a crossover purse and market bags. I think I saw a free pattern for one so I'm going start looking at some cottons and get started. Wish me luck!
ОтветитьI've used the New Look 6217 pattern many times, too, and really love it.
Thanks for sharing your makes! 🤓
