LG OLED Evo G3 - 3 Months Later... (The Best OLED TV Ever?)

Hey Chaps! What TV do you have right now? (and what would tempt you to upgrade)?

Chap - Can I use a swivel/tilt mount for LG 77" G3? Would you recommend against it? Which mount would you recommend?

How does this compare with QD-OLED ?? I have a aw34qd monitor and it’s incredible the colors pop out so much. Even if this oled is so good i think the right time to jump to buy a new oled is when lg launches its qdoled lineup

Iam happy with my 65 G2 does it worth the upgrade?

I filed a complaint to LG about my LG G2 65” which got a vertical line on August 23 and they said technician will arrive on August 29 and then I hear a call from technician on 29th that he is not arriving because he didn’t received parts( display & power supply) yet they are out of stock. I waited long enough and I call them today which is September 11, and the representative told me that technician received a damage display and you have to wait more which is a silly excuse si after one and half hour long wait over the phone, I got in the touch with supervisor. I asked them to replace my TV. I can’t wait more enough and now they have submitted my case to “Presidential Liaison Team” & I will receive a call from them within 24 hours. Hope for the best I will update once I receive a call.

Hello , Could you please share on the power consumption. Is there power stabilizer need to be connected ?

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to plug in additional HDMI stuff after you wall mount this TV? Is there a box available for this TV so we can have only one cable coming out of it (besides power)?

Really nice follow-up review. My primary TV is a Samsung 55” LED from 2010. 😂 I think this might be the year I finally upgrade. Trying to decide between the 77” C3 or the 65” G3 so to keep the price under $3000. Watching in a basement, I sit about 12 feet away from the screen. Hmmmm..

have you noticed how unbelievably bad sound today's LG oled screens have compared to LG LCD 15 years ago? LG lcd actually had pretty good sound! Lg oled does NOT have good sound!!!!

The only way to use a sound board is to hang the screen on the wall! No space under the screen otherwise

That 77 inch looked massive in your room but the 65 looks too small? Which size did you prefer?

Hate it doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone out.

That wall mount looks too narrow to allow you to both mount it on studs and center the TV horizontally on the wall.

In all the videos I've seen, people just mount it right where they want it without any regard to studs, so I'm assuming no one is actually mounting it on studs. Which makes me nervous with a 77 inch tv.

I love LG tvs my fave.
I m still using my of signature flagship tv of 2018 (think that was year) which has the paper thin tv held on wall by magnets and only one main cable down tv connected to a speaker which also has all the other inputs. I love this tv so stunning. They do not make this anymore but I so wish they did. If they did I would buy a new version for sure
But instead I’m goona wait for the new wireless tv they’re doing coming out in sept. 😊

I just bought the lg oled b2;good entry-level oled for me. I like the magic remote, and the picture is nice.

Do you recommend this top tier oled or the lineup of miniled options that sell for one third the price? Will any movie watcher, specifically layperson viewers, notice the difference?

Seriously considering getting this model this year.
Only issue though is that I have a fairly flexible wall mount mechanism which allows for angle viewing and forward protrusion from the wall.
Would I have to replace it with the LG bespoke bracket?
If not - What is the VESA dimensions for this model?

They should have changed the design of the remote too, despite it functions well, it's big fatty ugly looking device.

Hi I just found this video and channel. I have a great Samsung 4K at about 43". I'm not presently in the market for a new TV, but I'm always curious. I'm sure you understand. I'm limited to about my current size by the space I have. So while I think peak image is supposed to start start at about 55", I can't, even when shopping for a new TV.

I do have a burning question, that even applies to home theaters like the stuff you see from Dreamedia or TVs like this because I'm impressed by it, but I have never gotten replies. I hope you'll forgive me as the following is copy and pasted. I'm just looking for an answer. And come to think of it I would add, do you think these peak image technologies would make their way to about 44"? Thanks! Now to the other stuff:

Hello, great video! I do have a question about the G3, specifically the 77". How is the screen uniformity on your panel? Do you notice any of the pink/magenta tint that can happen on some of the panels?

I am happy with my hisense 55A7G, the quality of images the same this video. =))

What do you think about the pixels per inch (PPI) isn't 4k 65inch a better option for 4k TV ? I am worried that 77inch would be too much for 4k resolution.

Btw It's a shame that they are still putting usb 2.0 and 100mpbs Ethernet card on a flagship tv at 2023 .... I think its on purpose , so you cannot take full advantage of usb 3.0 Ethernet adapters (1gbps) , faster net speeds improve drastically the experience in the webOS/AndroidTV etc.

Can someone talk about the options for a electrical powersource? Does the tv allow if you installed a wall outlet to hide the cord. This seems to be an issue with tvs. I don’t want to see ANY cords lol

I am rocking a 50” Pioneer plasma, 720p, in our finished attic. It’s not the newest tv, but it’s the main one with the entertainment system. This may just finally be the tv to replace it. Maybe. Paired with a nice Nakamichi dragon….👍🤪🇨🇦🏳️‍🌈

Amazing! I love LG OLED it’s my preference, I had Samsung and yes you get that brightness and color pop but this G3 does it for me and I’ve had Oled since the c8, then cx which I still have gaming on it and watching movies is still amazing plus has hdmi 2.1 I believe that was the first c series to do 2.1, also purchased c2 42inch for gaming & now G3 for the living room 🙌🏽
