Is it possible for a new account to still catch up or at least play the raids at some point? i just decided to start classic rn lol

I just want to get enough embles to buy heirlooms, but people are obsessed with Gearscore, do I can’t get in HC-groups to get emblems🤯
I have to spend days-weeks to get gear to even get into HC-groups and then days-weeks to get enough heirlooms to actually start the char I want to play..

I need 3500 to do heroics....

at this point just run a 25 naxx gdkp.. if you are in a heavily populated server, they run all the time and are just FULL of carries who are just there for trinket bosses and kt loot and i go in fresh and come out 4k gs ish for under 3k gold lol

there's also some Decent starter gear from Argent tournament dailies. MY issue with this is that i'm hardcore gamer, and usually get better gear by the time i've unlocked the Vendors selling the good gear. But for casual players, it's a great way to get some gear if limited on time.

From a player who hit 80 a month ago, Naxx 10 is VERY efficient in getting geared up! They drop 213 gear now, plus 226 pieces from KT, and the bosses are basically loot piñatas.

If you have excess gold and are kind of a lone ranger / guildless like me and want to get into the action right away you can get 4.1k gs from all boe's if you include the new ulduar ones. That score should get you into almost any pug for VOA / OS / NAXX. Look for NAXX 10m/25m with 3 SR and after one clear of all those you should easily have enough gs to get into Ulduar 10m/25m pugs. You can gear very quickly now.

How to gear up insanely fast: play an insane amount of the content you need the gear for, just find 9 idiots who will bring your undeargeared ass to raids and ruin a shit ton of battlegrounds - ezclap

Stop playing classic. Thats my suggestion.

I have another method, pvp gear. Trade in all you SK shards and marks for honor and send the honor marks to your Alt. Helps a bit

Haven’t even watched this video yet but I hit 80 today and now I’m 4300 gs . Straight into nax 25 gdkp then into ulduar gdkp spent 8k of my money then I got 3k from naxx run and 6k from ulduar run that I spent

Just do a heroic to get gear, but get 4209 gear score before doing heroics. Just sit with 80 bots for 20 hours a week for 3 weeks.

I went from 2,4kGS to 4k in 4h after getting 80. Only from 1k gold, 2 raids, the daily HC and probably some luck... Most of the players do the donjon or raid for a specific item (pennant cloak, Dragon Soul ect...). The rest is just free loot.

One small thing I'd add to this. Epic flying should probably be the last thing you buy. BOEs and professions should come way before that. Assuming you had gathering professions from 1-80, you should have at LEAST 5k gold by the time you get to 80.
