Fantastic guitar! I replaced the pickups with antiquity vintage p90’s and replaced the capacitors with bubble bees oil in paper. Its sounds even better! Love this guitar! Cool thing is the pots are already CTS. Highly recommend this guitar.

I had a cherry red Reissue of this guitar Gibson one in the 90's with the p-100 humbuckers that were stacked looked like p-90s but no hum ...i wish i never got rid of it it was my main guitar for years.

Lmao I love how they're showing Epiphone and Gibson amps in the background, but you can clearly see her playing through a Fender amp....

The junior was the budget. The speacial had two pickups and probably cost more than the junior although basically the same guitar

My first Gibson was a 2005 Les Paul special faded, but with humbuckers, that I bought used. Love it. A used Gibson at a bargain price, that's appreciating in value.

I really love this guitar. I love the stripped down look, no frills, bells or whistles. Just a good looking guitar, and great sounding with the p90's. I don't own one, but I have owned Epiphones in the past and always found them well made and nice sounding. My very first guitar in 1976 was an Epiphone Les Paul Cherry burst because of Ace Frehley.

Current Gibson Tribute Special can be had with humbuckers. There were Gibson LP Special humbucker models available in the 50's and 60's.
