his voice is so good it feels like this video is dubbed. man you should read audiobooks
ОтветитьI showed this to my Phenom. It's now a Phenom II.
ОтветитьDoes silicon affect ram speed? amd still garbage. no wonder i can not enable xmp 3000mhz on r5 3600
ОтветитьHey Linus, just discovered your videos and love them, happy New Year 2023!
ОтветитьAre you sure you haven't mixed up the CPU/RAM voltages for the "Rec'd OC maximum?
Ответитьgreat...!!!
ОтветитьI'm going to have to watch this about 300 times haha
ОтветитьAnd now the new gen does this all automatically on first startup?🤔
ОтветитьThank you. I understood absolutely nothing.
Now i need to watch this video two more times while taking notes.
I still know nothing after watching this because I don't know what he's referencing.. spit out a bunch of short hand language which refers to X setting but I have no idea what the blah blah blah is or represents. I need like a true beginners intro to OCing I think 😂
ОтветитьI swear I miss just setting xmp and walla intel system worked flawless. All these tweaks n settings etc and the fact it does make a difference it makes my head hurt. I literally dialed in but now my 3950 doesn't want boost past 4.254 with 1.35v. Auto volts allowed higher frequencies. Im just glad I got my memory to post at 3200mhz haven't ran memtest yet but every benchmark n game runs flawless so I take it as a minor win with probably more tweaking needed just don't have the nerves and time to keep going.
ОтветитьImagine releasing 2 same cpus but install an overclock lock for 1 of them so you can sell the other one for a higher price.
Must have been intel's Employee of the century
Thanks Anthony
ОтветитьPLEASE ANOTHONY READ MY OTHER POST THANKS..
ОтветитьWE Need MORE X370 with 5000 Chips, Video's... This is what people are looking for even if it has to be on a BETA BIOS.. What WE all want to know is can we just Keep Our Boards.. We haven't seen enough Video's on this.. ASUS MSI, And Especially ASRock have been working hard with their Customer's to get 5000 series to work on X370.. A lot of people have just used the X470 BIOS's and got success.. But ASRock an Official BIOS for one Board and BETA's P7.04 which is their most stable so far!! Lets be clear the chip will run stable!! ((The problem they are having which to me isn't even a too me)) It's complaints about not being able to go above 3600MHZ and memory timings.. The complaint is most people can run the chip, but once they try to go above 3200Mhz on the memory the systems start to become unstable,, And I say so what else is new!! I have been used too, I am Totally happy with 3200 CL14 which is just as fast as 3600 CL16.. Finally a 5800X is like a 56% performance upgrade over my 2700X.. There are people out there who already have AM4 Board's who refuse to buy another AM4 board!! But they would jump on a 5000 series chip right now if given a BIOS.. Seriously you guys need to show us how to get Ryzen working on these older boards.. We don't Care about PCIE4/5 Or 4000Mz Memory right now.. All of us are bottlenecked by our GPU's anyway.. All we want is to know what chips work best with what boards??? IT REALLY BOTHER'S ME THAT US FIRST ADOPTOR'S, ((The People who made other people want to go out and Leave Intel for Ryzen)) How we are being treated AMD could give us a BIOS ASRock already did it for us!!! All The people who went out and left Intel for AMD and the Promise of the AM4 socket deserve a BIOS.. I could get another 4/5 years out of this motherboard with a 5800X/5900X dropped into my system..
Please Anthony, Pretty Please start trying to help us first adaptor's, with X370 and B350 we deserve to be able to at least get the same level of performance out of Ryzen 5000 as the X470 people do.. This is So Not Fair to the people who made Ryzen popular in the first place.. I Didn't wait 2 years till Zen 2 came out to switch from Intel.. The first week AMD came out with this Platform I was on it dealing with memory and BIOS issues along with windows not even knowing what to do with all those cores.. WE SHOULD BE THE PEOPLE AMD IS CARTERING TOO!!!
I was all excited to overclock my new Ryzen 5950X rig. But I come from Intel.... Are you kidding me?? Lol - Hell noooo. No f#$@#! way am I going through this mental gymnastics and steep learning curve just to boost frequencies. Soooo disappointed. I had an i7 7700 OC'd to 5Ghz! all cores... The 5950X chip feels exactly the same at stock for most things. What a waste of money!
ОтветитьYou're such a great speaker! So natural. Great job :D
ОтветитьSo boring and useless
Ответитьthis guy is better than the other kid going through puberty.
ОтветитьAnthony is so much heavier here...I can see it in his face. I`m glad to see him dropping weight in 2021-2022. Because this man is a treasure.
ОтветитьMy Ryzen 6 3600 is currently stable at 4.6GHz @ 1.35v
It's damn near at its limit though, so I daily it arrive 4.2-4.3
Why is it that my Ryzen 7 1700 seems to hit 4Ghz without any issue at all using a Graphite Thermal Pad 0.1mm thickness & a Thermalright True Copper with Delta PFC1212DE fan? I didn't find any fragment of a chance of hitting the Silicon Lottery because in my experience the Silicon Lottery doesn't exist. I think that's just an excuse people give when their thermals aren't in order so they just scratch it off as the chips fault when its actually the people having more money than brains. This is a common occurrence I find.
ОтветитьAlguém de bom coração traduza esse vídeo, obrigado
ОтветитьThe “x” chips overclock better than regular chips according to my testing.
ОтветитьI'm using this video to find out how to stop overclocking my 3600 because it did it out the box and it's overheating when idling lmao
ОтветитьJust picked up a 5800x for black friday, could have sworn you guys did an overclocking guide for 5th gen too? Can anybody help? :(
ОтветитьI would also like to say if your a strange person and are running a ryzen without a solid state drive your missing out. Any CPU actually run better when windows is on a fast drive. I think it cause a cpu gets locked up waiting on the harddrive to complete something. So the faster your cpu can finish reading or writing to the drive the less it locked up.
Ответитьthis guy is the pc master master race.
ОтветитьThis is so complicated I don’t understand anything
ОтветитьAMD: Be a rocket scientist to OC.
Intel: Just increase core ratio and give it sum voltage with enough coolage and call it a day.
im gunna pretend i understand anything said in this video
ОтветитьSo overclocking Ryzen 7 3700X won't be worth it? Not gaining much extra performance
ОтветитьOkay then... I'll just auto overclock it and call it a day then.
Ответитьcan I contact you on discord so I can screen share and you explain
ОтветитьI am hoping i can gain the benefits of a decent overclock or just allow amd"s boost to 4.2Ghz on Ryzen 7 3700x. When I currently use boost my temps skyrocket on my MSI x570 motherboard. If this video doesnt help I hope someone can help me.
ОтветитьLove you Anthony :) <33
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьThis video should be twice as long! I feel like a fourth grader put in a quantum physics class a day before the exam.
ОтветитьEveryone looking now amd4 5950x with best ram for highend gaming
Ответитьcan i geta dumbed down version? rtx 2060S amd 5 3600 32GB RAM Gskill 2666
ОтветитьIf this video features Anthony you know what to do.
Ответить.....yeah I think I'm good. I don't want to destroy my pc.
ОтветитьMe: I wanna overclock.
Me after 12 minutes: Yea... stock is fine.
This guy is well spoken.
ОтветитьMy R7 3700X has been running at around 70°C at 4400Mhz (all Core) and 1.275 V, thx for the Guide
ОтветитьOh.... i see the dislike button is hidden so...
ОтветитьWho is the guy doing this video, does anyone have his email address. I want to give him my build so he can give me a safe overclock without killing my system
Ответить
