The most realistic portrayal here is everything you stock filling up your home. I worked retail management for 3 years at a clothing shop. By the time I left, everything I wore came from that store. Brutal lol.

Anyone else notice the products on the shelves giving the player secret messages? Like the Cool Kids Juice that says GET OUT, or the Ketchup that says "You are wasting your life."

I work in retail and I'm a cashier and I don't remember the whole store well, although I've been in it for several months now, because everything is always changing. Every time a customer asks me where something is, I answer that I don't know because I'm a cashier and if I know where it is, I just tell them. Most of the time I just leave them to another partner or I just tell them I don't know and continue on my way.

To anyone who works in retail, what’s the some good customer etiquette that you find helpful? and is there a preferred way to ask for help? I always feel too intimidated to ask employees for assistance, because I feel like I’m Interrupting or adding stress 😅

The most accurate part of this game for me is the fact that you're the only person working there. Too many people catching on to the fact that retail is one of the shittiest jobs out there and aren't applying unless it pays well.

Why is nobody pointing out the one can of paint that just says "pain"?

I do appreciate the fact that you can physically assault customers with potentially fragile products No Problem but If you Take a normal amount of time to lead a customer to an Isle it's Instant firing

I wonder if this is night of the Karens more than consumers, probably because they are impatient and if they don't eat their way, they are immediately like "I WANNA SPEAK TO THE MANAGER" XD the manager himself might be one because he goes along with it

This game is unironically scarier than a lot of the games on this channel. It's made by someone who understands horror to a T.

The music kinda bops at times

The way every item haunts the player even in their house, with the cool juice and the spray and the doll, adds alot of emphasis that you cannot escape your spiral into insanity, even in places where you feel safe. Not only that, but it adds alot of wonder to this world. Is the entire supermarket controlling the economy or society and we wouldn't know at all? Maybe thats why everyone freaks out at that store.

Me personally, i do not like the whole "epsiode" plan the creator has going on with the game, i felt like beforehand it did just fine as a standalone game. But maybe i'll be proven wrong. It does seem somewhat promising.
