ОтветитьImagine being Captain of Nantucket and you suddenly get rammed from the side by a ghostly steam liner out of nowhere
ОтветитьWhite star line had a habit of hitting the few things in the ocean that they shouldn't.
ОтветитьIm confused why is everyting atlantic ocean?
ОтветитьWich game
ОтветитьThe Olympic is… fake that’s the titanic because they changed the names
ОтветитьI guess JP Morgan didn't want to admit defeat ,and bankruptcy ,so they limped this OLYMPIC ,back the port in Belfast where the sister ships were. Exchanging the Olympic letters ,to "Titanic at night to avoid photos of this " switch"!!! What truly bothers me is that JP had his "opposition to the Federal Reserve giving free passage abroad on the new Titanic ,known quite well this ship " Olympic " was to be blown out in the bow ,and sunk do to a "iceberg" LOL !! JPMorgan needs to be brought to justice for the "premeditated murders " of the "Olympic \Titanic " deliberate sinking insurance fraud that took place that cold April morning .
Ответитьimagine you're a random guy on the nantucket and suddenly a huge ship appears out of nowhere you think you are seeing illusions of the Titanic but suddenly the nantucket sank quickly
Ответитьits always weird to me that you have the ENTIRE ocean and like why would something to be hit be HERE at this EXACT time, out of the entire ocean. i guess that just shows how unpredictable life can be, no matter how small the chances are, it can still happen
ОтветитьRip nantucket

ОтветитьOlympic still did not sink cool
ОтветитьThe lightship wreck discovery has confirmed that Olympic did not cut her in half.

Ответитьthey probably thought it was the ghost of the titanic lol
ОтветитьThe Olympic didn't fare well during the Court of Inquiry into this disaster. Her commander, Captain Binks had always made it a personal tactic of his own to steam in the direction of the Nantucket Lightship, and then turn away at the last moment. Surviving crew members of the lightship pointed this out, and they even had a photograph taken from the Lightship in January of 1934, just five months before the collision to show how close the big liner came to the immovable lightship on a regular basis. Asked if other liners did this, the crewman said no, but he added, that the Olympic was a most notorious offender.
This incident, as well as the loss of the sister ship, Titanic, revealed a flaw in the liners rudder design. The rudder was entirely to small to adequately turn one of these liners, before it collided with an object in her path. The newsreel footage of the incident is very hard to watch, as we see crewman from the lightship being interviewed on the Olympic as the liner came into New York. Everyone of the survivors, who had just been plucked from the sea, were 7 of their fellow crewman had just perished, were, as you would expect, in a complete state of shock, but in that very moment they were being asked by crew members of the Olympic if they held the Cunard-White Star Liner to blame for the collision. It was almost surreal to watch that newsreel.
