I got scam from a taxi. He try to drive very very far and I end up pay US$120 and I told him to stop and I was dropped in a place I am not familiar!

I got scam it was huge, I was inform of Platinum shopping mall a texi driver come with a safari, floating market map and convince us that it will charge only 1000 and they take us and back. Mentioned that floating market fee is 600BHT but when we reached there after. 1 hour they charged us 12000BHT and we didn’t that much money they said cridt card is okay. Since me and my husband went that far we paid and it was so sad, but along the way they took our photos when we come back they sale our photos 600BHT each otherwise no😢 I got the photo but more photos with floating and staff but I ignored. They take your phone and sometimes don’t allow you to film instead they do it themselves and sale to you. On the way we they stop to a jewelry shop and we just looked around I said my husband to buy something he said I can’t trust them let’s go. So we took the taxi and come. Then he stopped for Tiger show and said it’s 4000 for entry ticket. And one photo is 1400 with tiger. BTW it was all planned please don’t go with taxi holding map in Nana, Platinum, infron of Central world.

DO NOT USE TAXI! USE GRAB CAR! SO MUCH CHEAPER AND KIND DRIVERS!

When I'm in Thailand I use the app In Drive because it tells you the price of the ride up front. And I agree always ask for all the specific costs up front because I have gone out and when I got the bill there were additional charges that were not explained up front.

These are only minor scams. Where are the other scams? Drugging drinks and relieving a tourist of everything they own. The diamond scam (which cost my sister about $5k). The scams in this video are very minor - you may lose a few dollars.

Well … it’s true with the Taxis, and they actually have to turn on the taximeter by law, BUT you will barely get one with taximeter in rush hours! I tried that many times to ask them to turn on the meter and they just don’t! My Tipp: check the price with the APPs Grab or Bolt first, then u know how much it will be approximately and then u can at least negotiate with the taxi driver about the price!

This video is mostly useless to Indians, they are brought up with these life skills 🙊

Why to visit such scammers country? They are the most cheater country. You should never hire bike, car and boats

The biggest scam I had was in Patong Phuket. Like the 'Grand Palace is closed" scam but then waaay bigger organised !!! They sold it as a daytrip, a brochure between other trips.
Took you to some (free entrance) highli9ghts, which were nice. Then a honey-"factory" which wqas a shop ! Cashew-nuts 'factory' which was a shop ! The 'coffee-break' as mentioned in the program, was the biggest jewery-shop I ever saw !!!!!!! Busses full of tourists at the entrance...

Even Thai doesn't like this kind of people

Yes, ask the taxi driver to turn the meter on, but he can still take detours to make the trip longer so the meter doesn't really help...

The biggest scam i see there are all the people wearing masks

The thing I hate about LOS, is that at 1.87m tall, travelling in a tuk tuk is a pain. The overhang of the roof of the tuk tuk means I have to 'scrunch' down to see out. Mostly a problem for new tourists who want to see the sites.
